'Bulbul' cyclone is hitting the coast of Bengal

Due to cyclone 'Bulbul', operations have been suspended at the busiest Kolkata airport in eastern India for 12 hours starting at 6 pm on Saturday. This information has been given by the Ministry of Home Affairs. There is a possibility of landslides due to this cyclone on the West Bengal coast on Saturday evening. The National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC).the country's apex body to deal with any emergency reviewed the preparation to deal with the very severe cyclone 'Bulbul' over the Bay of Bengal on Saturday.

Eight fishermen in Bhadrak who were stranded on the island of Kalibhanja after the boat was trapped, they were rescued by the Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force team and local fishermen. The rain has started in Bhadrak and strong winds are blowing. A Home Ministry official said due to severe cyclone 'Bulbul', the Kolkata airport has been postponed from 6 pm from November 9 to 6 pm on November 10. Cyclone 'Bulbul', about 90 km south-east of Digha at 2.30 pm on Saturday, is located 85 km south of Sagar Island and 185 km south-east of Kolkata.

               

Due to this, the operations of the aircraft at Kolkata airport will be closed from 6 pm on Saturday to 6 am on Sunday. The Ministry of Home Affairs has given information about this. The cyclone is expected to reach the West Bengal coast on Saturday from around 8 pm to 10 pm. The National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) , the country's apex body to deal with any emergency, reviewed the preparations to deal with the severe cyclone 'Bulbul' over the Bay of Bengal on Saturday. The Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that the cyclone has now intensified and is likely to cross the West Bengal coast by Saturday evening.

Bangladesh has become cautions about this Due to the pressure on the Bay of Bengal, this storm is moving towards the southern coast of Bangladesh. Bangladesh has alerted its navy in view of the danger. The Navy is ready to deal with any situation. The weather office has issued a severe storm warning in Dhaka on Saturday morning.
