Best Ways of Time Utilization during Lockdown.

Every situation has some Silver Linings. Many of us think of doing something effective and innovative during the day, but end up with just a thinking process with zero results. Many of us won't be writing a great novel or start mastering an art, but still, there are greater ways of finding potential in the Pandemic if we Try. With a gradual pace comes an opportunity of finding out something new and we dont have to go very far at all to feel the enrichment of the world around us. Just a little commitment is all we need.

Some positive habits to start now can help utilize our time better when we are sitting at home.

1. Learning from Sources available around us: Noticing small things that we pass on daily can be a huge source of comfort and can help us learn something new, how that thing is happening, what processes are taking place, why its taking place, what will it lead to next and can we do something to make it more enhancing, we just need to allow ourselves the time to pay attention and develop a fresh perspective of these issues.

2. Growing up some New Skills: Well, I myself have tried cooking some new dishes at home and helping my mom. And guess what, it really worked. We have made so many new dishes ranging from Bakery products to Proper Indian Thalis. And it all felt so very good that at last that we did it ourselves and it didn't feel like we are not moving out for eating in Hotels and Restaurants. All the food that we cooked has a good sense of hotel-style feeling and just of the street food that we use to go and take a bite of. However, it's not just cooking, everyone can think of a new skill that one feels he is weak in and can work upon it and see the results growing up.

3. Family Time: It often happens that everyone is busy in their own world. Office, school, college, work, etc. We never think of our families first and even if we do, we realize that there is no time left. But now is the time, there is still time and very much time. Everyone is at home, just go and try to spend some time with your families, share your thoughts, experiences, goods, bads, etc. It not only helps us to share but brings positive vibes and feelings at the time of crisis. We dont get this time too often, we need to realize that.

4. Home-Work: Start working at home and utilizing your time. Help for parents, siblings, etc. at home in their work and maybe you can learn something new from them, you can gain some new ideas, some new skills. Ask them about their works, the projects they are dealing with, their experiences, etc. That gives a lot of options for us to think of.

5. Working-Net: People often think that they are at home, its just Sunday today. These days it seems like every day is a Sunday. So, Sunday = No Work. People usually like watching movies, Netflix, Playing Games, etc. But the Internet is something that is wide open for all of us. We should not restrict ourselves in these 2-3 things. Try searching something new to do, start working upon yourself, try using the internet for something extra innovative.

6. Study Mode Online: As we all know, due to this pandemic, schools, colleges are closed. Even IT Company professionals have started working from home. And as the situation is growing up, it seems like this will continue like this at least for this year. I have noticed that many of the professionals have started teaching online on different platforms like YouTube, Unacademy, etc. Even schools and College teachers are teaching online. So it seems like we are moving towards a digital mode of working. Maybe, in the coming years, learning and working modes can happen the same way as we see from the last few months. 

7. Healthy Life: All of us need to keep our body fit and healthy. We can start practicing meditation, yoga, exercise, walk, etc to keep ourselves engaged and make our mind more concentrated and peaceful. And it's not just for a few days, these habits need to be followed every day regularly, and once we are determined we can do this, we will surely be able to adapt it.

Changes are the rules of nature and we will see changes in our lifestyles too. So, it's very important for us to feel what changes are taking place and start adapting ourselves to those Changes. Only then we will be able to survive. Trying growing up your hobbies like playing, reading, listening, exploring, thinking process, and always try learning something new. We should always think of moving ahead even if the time or the situation we are facing is not right.
