Best Settings For RDR2 2020 FOR MAX PERFORMANCE AND BEAUTIFUL VISUALS !

Alright, then let's start with the basic graphics settings-

If you have any problem contact me-https://www.instagram.com/akita.drift/

Graphics Recommendations: Don't change these to low, the game will look disgusting but if you like you can do it, i dont recommend it-

Lighting Quality: Medium-keep it at medium makes the visuals better!
Reflection Quality: Medium-turning this to low will give you a 5-8% boost!
Water Quality: Medium-not recommended to turn low, wont have a big effect.
Volumetrics: Medium-turn to low if you like will give a nice fps boost.

Now for the real talk, these advance settings will have a HUGE! effect on your FPS, but if you have stuttering keep scrolling i have a fix for it.

Advance Settings-

Graphics API: Vulcan-Just don't change it.
Near Volumetric Resolution: Low
Far Volumetric Resolution: Medium
Particle Lighting Quality: Medium
Grass Shadows: Medium
Full Resolution SSAO: Off
Water Refraction Quality: Medium
Motion Blur: Off
Geometry Level of Detail: 60%
Grass Level of Detail: 40%
Tree Tessalation: Off

Keep these settings looking like this, just don't change them, keeping these settings on low won't have a big effect on visuals and will keep you on a good 30-60 FPS !  DAMN ! Good luck out there, cowpokes!

Now go test the game with these, Tested?Good, Now this part is only if you have MASSIVE stuttering in vulcan API, if you dont just leave, but still it's recommended to do this, it will also eliminate FPS spikes and macro-stutters, so enough talking let's start ! (MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING VULCAN API IN SETTINGS OR GAME CRASH)

•Go to the location-C:\Users\ (your name/or different) \Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2

•Then go to the folder "SETTINGS"

•See at the bottom you will see a .XML document named "settings.xml"

•Right-click on the .xml document and open with it a notepad

•search in the document for   "

•almost there- now in you gotta change one thing.

•change the line and replace it with this- "false" see it's that simple !

•now on the top right corner click on file and save, close everything(MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING VULCAN API IN SETTINGS OR GAME CRASH)

•And Voila!! Stuttering gone ! If you have any problem contact me-https://www.instagram.com/akita.drift/

BASIC SETTINGS BUT DETAILED-

Texture Quality – On ultra, it will cost you near 4GB of virtual memory alone, set this to medium or preferably low if your gameplay is stuttering.
Global Illumination – This affects the quality of indirect light from the sky. Get this switched to low.
Volumetrics Quality –  It affects the quality of clouds but comes with a performance hit that’s just too expensive for older PCs.
Screen Space Ambient Occlusion – Probably the most draining visual setting in the game. While lowering it leads to a flatter, less rich image, cutting this to low will claw back considerable frames.
Shadow Quality – Though not as fps-draining as the above settings, you should still dial this to lowest possible
