He said that students who want to study only after construction will be able to enroll here. Federal Interior Minister Brigadier Retired Ijaz Shah said the university would be slightly different from other universities. He added that anyone other than Sikhs would come from outside to get education at this university and a hostel would also be built for those coming from outside. In addition, a hostel will be constructed for students coming out of the city so that they can stay here. Provincial Education Minister Yasser Humayun said that five departments would be set up at the university. These include Religion and Beliefs, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Architecture, Information Technology and South Asian Studies. He said that Punjabi and Pure Languages ​​would be taught in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. "The School of Theology will teach about the teachings of Sufism, spirituality and Baba Guru Nanak and the university will be known around the world for the teaching of spirituality." He claimed that people of Sikh community in other countries have expressed their willingness to fund the project. He says 10,000 students will be able to study here.
