1. Kartavyapath is referred to as Rajpath. As everyone knows, the annual January 26 procession takes place on Rajpath in New Delhi. However, from 1950 until 1954, Rajpath was not the parade's organizing hub. Rajpath was chosen as the parade's permanent location on January 26, AD 1955. At the time, Rajpath was known as "Kingsway," but it is now known as Kartavyapath.
