Internet is Google and Google is the Internet for many of us. 

Millions of people use Google search every day for a variety of reasons. Students use it for school, business people use it for research and millions more use it for entertainment.

But most people may not be using Google search to it's full potential. 

Google can be used for a lot more than just searching for random stuff, it can also be used to kill time! So check out some Google tricks like barrel roll the next time on your hands!

 

  • Do a barrel roll

One of the most popular fun Google trick is simply asking Google to do a barrel roll.

Go to Google and type "do a barrel roll" in the search box and see the magic. The page will rotate twice and then come back to its original position. Do check it out. 

For the first time when the user tries this trick, surely gets panic thinking something is wrong with the computer. Send this trick link to your friends to see their reaction. 

If you are in the mood for some extra fun, type 'do a barrel roll 20 times' and watch your screen.

  • Askew

Askew is another one of the fun Google tricks. Head over to the Google search bar and write “Askew” to see how your page tilts a little. It doesn’t seem as intriguing as the other funny Google tricks, but it’s nice to see the biggest search engine tilting a bit on your desktop. 

  • Google Sphere

On the Google homepage type ‘Google sphere’ and press ‘I’m feeling lucky’. In a couple of seconds the constituents of the page will take the shape of a moving sphere! Now this is one of the Google game tricks that we absolutely love! 

  • Google Gravity

Gravity works in amazing ways, even on the Google homepage. Here’s how, for once, you can make Google fall to your knees - 

Watch the homepage come crashing down with this trick. Go to the Google homepage and type ‘Google gravity’. Ignore the autosuggestions and press ‘I’m feeling lucky’. You can also throw the pieces around using your mouse! Google tricks like Google gravity make sure that you never run out of things to do! 

  • Zerg Rush

As soon as you type zerg rush in Google search, a row of zeros will hit your screen. Click on them to destroy them, because if you don’t they will eat up all of your search results! 

Alternatively, you can access the hidden Google trick by clicking on “I am feeling lucky” after typing “Zerg Rush” on the Google search bar. 

  • Atari Breakout

The board game might have hundreds of iterations, but no one can ever forget the experience of the real Atari Breakout from the ’90s. If you never had the chance, then don’t miss out on this one —Try this google game Atari Breakout.

Go to google images and type “Atari Breakout”. You will see a normal images page then after a few seconds the page will turn to a game screen and you can play Atari Breakout.

  • Play Pacman

Pacman is a game everyone loves, right? Here’s how to play it on your browser. On the Google homepage type ‘Pacman’ and hit enter. Click on ‘Click here to play’ and you are done! Tadaa! One of the cool Google tricks that we absolutely love, this one is super fun too!

  • Flip a Coin

For all the times that you do not have a coin and you need to flip one, use this trick. Go to the Google homepage, type ‘Flip a coin’ and press enter. What better way to toss a coin? Fancy some more Google tricks games to have up your sleeve!

  • Thanos

This cool Google trick would certainly please all the Marvel fans out there. Search for “Thanos” on Google and jump to Marvel’s supervillain biography on the right-hand side of the page. Now, click on the “Gauntlet” icon just below Google Images and see Google disintegrate its page listings. 

  • Recursion

This is a very amazing trick. Go to google.com and Search for “recursion” on Google and you will get stuck in an infinite loop much like recursion.

Recursion means repeating. Google will show “did you mean recursion?” every time searching for recursion. Again, it is a fun act of Google for all the geeks who understand recursion in the first place.
