Apple will allow any owner of a Mac Pro to install the wheels on their own

Apple has published a new technical document this week in which it offers information on the new Mac Pro. Throughout the report, a section dedicated to the wheels of the tower has been found and which suggests the possibility of buying and installing them the independent way.

The wheels for the Mac Pro have been a subject of constant confusion since Apple introduced this new computer last year. These accessories must be purchased for more than 400 euros and Apple is responsible for installing it, a customary measure of the company that is usually very strict with the handling of its products.

However, with this new publication, it changes its position and will allow customers who already have a Mac Pro under their belt to add the wheels on their own. "Both the feet and the wheels are available as a kit that can be installed by the customer and, therefore, can be converted from feet to wheels or vice versa" can be read in the text.

As we said, so far to put wheels on the Mac Pro it was necessary to pay about 400 euros and contact Apple for them to supervise the installation. That the client himself can buy and install them himself, is a great advance.

The document also indicates that some of the requests from Apple customers may not be available yet, moreover, the wheels are not yet available in that independent kit. Nor is the possible price that that kit will have mentioned.

Like the wheels, adding extras to this hardware is also a price to consider. For example, increasing the RAM by 16 GB has a cost of 360 euros. If you want a 1 TB SSD worth 480 euros, and a 2 TB one, go up to 960 euros.

On the other end, the tech giant's new Mac Pro is designed for professionals in creative industries that demand more from their machine.
