About Kartarpurpur Corridor

On November 9, honorary PM of Pakistan Mr Imran Khan Inaugurated the Darbar Sahib complex in Kartarpurpur, Narowal. He said during his speech that it took a nine month duration to complete this complex. The whole complex was visited by PM himself before the arrivel of Sikh Yatrees from India.

There happened to see a brotherhood Harmony and heartiest welcomes by Pakistani officials during the greetings with all the visitors coming from India. Some days before this inauguration a golden Palki was also shifted to Pakistan from India.Famous personalities including Indian Ex PM Mr Manmohan Singh, Navjot Singh Sidhu and film star Sunny Deol.

During his speech Mr Khan said that Pakistan aims  further to have good relationships with India. He said Pakistan always welcome Sikh community to visit their Holly Gurdwaras located in different cities of Pakistan. He once again invited Mr Modhi for the solution of Kashmir Issue.

Navjot Singh Sidhu also speeched with his poetic style and thanked PM IK and Pakistan for this precious gift to Sikh community. Now Sikh came come and visit Gurduwara Sahib whenever they want without any condition of Visa. A total of 20 Dollars fees is set by Pakistan Finance Ministry for every individual Sikh Yatrees.

After the ceremony people came from India also visited other cities of Pakistan such as Lahore, Nankana Sahib and Narrowal. They did their shopping from different areas of Lahore especially from Anarkali Bazar. They also enjoyed different types of food which Lahore is famous for. They were warmly welcomed by Lahoris and enjoyed their day with them.

A group of some Sikh Yatrees travelled on a bus from Canada to visit first Darbar Sahib and Then Lahore. They enjoyed their way to Pakistan by an especially designed bus. It is interesting to know that they crossed Atlantic by putting their bus onto a ship and entered Europe. After which they travelled to Turkey and then entered in Pakistan through Iran.
