Age of Chaucer in History of England

These were the major problems there in England's socio-political and religious condition was not so good or suitable. We see a hundred years war between England and France, and that war was a historical war between two powers. There are few reasons behind this hundred years war. The First reason for the action was seizing thrown because The English king was over the French throne; it was a thrown for these people fighting. The Second reason behind this war was trading in the continent of Europe. The Third reason was to take lands back which lands were given to the French people by English people as “Fief,” but the French people weren’t ready to return them to the English people. These were the leading causes behind a hundred years of war between France and England, and fought in each other for a hundred years. It was considered as the outer conflict in England.

1. Walter Taylor Rebellion

The Second main problem in England was Walter Taylor’s Rebellion. This rebellion broke out in Kent city under the leadership of Walter Taylor. They took revolution against kings because kings were not ready to give concessions in taxes, they weren’t reducing it. The poor farmers were high taxes and huge burdens, and even poor farmers were confused, and landlords and Barms were corrupted entirely. Taylor rose the voice of poor people for their rights, but he was murdered very brutally by London's mayor. From this same movement, the “Social Revolution” started to be counted as mercilessly unfruitful to each other. It was an inner conflict that was going on in England somewhat hundred years war was outer conflict.

2. Black Death / Infection / Virus

The Third problem was the Black Death/Plague; it was a kind of virus or infection spreading from one person to another person quickly and proving as their demise. This plague appeared three times in England and swept away most of England's population, which was also the main problem for England.

3. Religious Corruption

The Fourth main problem was Religious corruption because those popes, priests, and clergies all were corrupt people under the church's premises. They were misguiding to ordinary people and looting them a lot. In religious activities, they robbed familiar people to misguide them that this is wrong, and this is right.

So when these four significant problems were in England, we see some Consequences here, lets’ look.

1. Effects of The French war

2. Religious Corruption

3. Walter Taylor Rebellion

4. Black Death/Plague

4. Spirit of Nationalism

The Spirit of nationalism spread between the two nations. They started to 'Own' their people and respective countries. English was giving importance to their people as French people prioritized their people as possible as public. There was anarchy, Chaos, and disturbance in the society because of the despotic and unwise rules and policies of Richard II.

There was over taxation burden of taxes on the joint/poor people. The Elite class/The one closer to the king were exempted from the tariffs.

There was a society of Labour's, John Wycliffe, and his fellow Lollards commenced; a Lollards movement challenged the corruption committed by Church and Popes.

The Religious people were living luxurious care-full life non-one could question there rightness or wrongness.

There was a clear distinction/gap between the lower/working class and the Upper/Elite class.
