6 Ways to Boost Your Mental Game When Playing Golf

When improving your game, there are a lot of things you need to keep in mind, from getting good gear like the new Taylor Made M5 and M6, to improving your position, grip and swing.  Most people may not realize this, but another thing that every golfer needs to work on consistently is their mental game.  It may seem trivial, but if it turns out, it can play a very big role in making you more successful.

 

  Routine it up

  Often, the routine has a bad connotation associated with the idea, because the routine kills the creative spark.  This may be somewhat true, but you can create a good golf game based on a good routine.  If you look closely at the pros, you will notice that they have a routine that keeps them in the middle of each round, which includes small things like walking at the same pace and engaging in the same actions before their shots.  With that in mind, try to find your own routine that works and stick to it.
