Everyone loves home-cooked food. The moment food is mentioned in a discussion with family and friends, the childhood memories of delicacies prepared by our family gourmet chef – mother flashes immediately. Especially, when we had guests, the elaborate preparations to serve them bring more of nostalgia with a tinge of selfish desire to relive those moments, primarily to enjoy the fine dine. Then, eating food was fun and not a dull activity.

 

With time our appetite changes and as we grow older, we become more health conscious. Eating for survival is one thing, but enjoying every morsel of food is another matter altogether.
