After Microsoft announced Windows 11, it released the first version of Windows 11 to the public on Monday. If you're interested in testing the new desktop OS, I've written a simple tutorial on how to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11; so far, I've tested Windows 11 and come up with some of the best Windows 11 features you should know. From the hidden features to the big ones, I've brilliantly covered all the new features of Windows 11.

Here, I've listed the top 5 new Windows 11 features, ranging from the newly designed Start Menu and Action Center to Android app support, Auto-HDR, and more.

  1. Totally New Start Menu –

Of all the new Windows 11 features, the new launcher-style floating start menu is the most distinctive part of Microsoft's next-gen desktop OS. Unlike the traditional Start menu, the new Start - as Microsoft calls it - sits right in the center of the taskbar. It has a flyout design pinned to each other and recommended applications. In my use so far, the recommendations are pretty good. It gives me access to recently installed documents, photos, and apps. In addition, you can hover your mouse over the search menu, and it will provide you with a few suggested applications based on your previous searches. However, According to my opinion, the new start is the best thing for Microsoft over bringing about the newly introduced Windows 11. It's fast, resolves your queries smartly, and delivers the best results in seconds. Users concerned about centric and launcher-style start menus can go back to the Live Tiles Older Windows 10 Start menu with support.

  1. New Action Center –

My second favorite feature of Windows 11 Rebuild Action Center is that it follows a design language I've seen in mobile OS. I prefer this mobile-first approach to toggle this important system. Unified WiFi, Volume, and Battery button is now a way of distance to be clicked simply if you want to open the new Action Center. It packs all the necessary controls, including brightness and volume slider. You can add more toggles like before. The more interesting thing is that the Bluetooth connection is much faster now, and you don't have to dive into the settings to pair your device. It keeps notifications in a clean design with badge support and provides ample space to respond to chaos or clear chaos. Not to mention, the new Action Center is more responsive than the little mess that Windows 10's Action Center had. Microsoft!

  1. Android Application Support –

The main highlight of Windows 11 is that it can now run Android apps powered by the Amazon App Store, but the current pre-build does not add Android app support. Microsoft has confirmed that the option to install Android applications will appear in upcoming builds. But wait, there's more. The best part is that you can even sideload the APK to your Windows 11 PC. How great is that? As an implementation, Microsoft has adopted the same approach as WSL2 (Windows subsystem for Linux). This means that Android applications will basically run on Windows 11, and the performance will be quite good. Needless to say, Android applications will run on both Intel and AMD processors, regardless of the Intel Bridge technology that enlivens this feature. , See our explanation in Project Lat.

  1. Auto HDR & No More Refreshment –

While unveiling the Windows 11 package, Microsoft has announced support for Auto HDR, which enhances the viewing experience while playing games. Although I haven't tried it on our system yet, it certainly seems to be a great feature for the conventional gaming community in Windows. The monitor comes along this windows 11 now supports to make itself refreshed at a rate up to 75Hz and belief me, it’s beyond the imagination and now the time to make refreshment of your PC is in the imagination of your dream. Yes, the future of smooth, high-refresh-rate Windows machines is very near, and I'm certainly excited.

  1. New Widgets –

It's interesting to see how much Microsoft is engaged in mobile-powered design for its next-gen desktop OS, with Microsoft's Windows 11 widget, where you can search for all kinds of information with just one click. It's also a customizable snapshot of Google Assistant and the You Widget section of Apple's iOS 15 or macOS Monterey's "Today View," and you can customize it to suit your interests. For tablets running Windows 11, the Widget window fills the entire screen by creating a one-stop dashboard for all your personal interests.
