                As we all know fuel like coal and chemicals (petrol, diesel, or kerosene) are reducing day by day. For this purpose we need to grow some renewable energies for our future. Some of the top 5 renewable energy sources are as follows.

• Hydroelectric power plant.

         As we see there are types of 'Hydropower plant' facilities. That is Impoundament, Division and pumped storage. Hydropower plant ranges from small system for a home or village to large project producing electricity for facilities. 

         In this system pressure of water from dam is used to generate electricity by means of various equipment. Water is stored in receiver and provided in the dam and it is passed to turbines through penstock. In turbine section, water stikes on turbine blades and it get rotates. As turbine shaft is connected to generator shaft it get rotates. And the electricity is generated. 

• Wind energy power plant.

       Wind energy is in the form of Solar energy. Approximately 2% of the sun's energy reaching the earth is converted into wind energy. The surface of the earth heats and cools unevenly, creating atmospheric zones, which makes airflow from high pressure area to low pressure area.

                 Wind turbines are also known as windmills. Therefore, Horizontal axis wind turbine is also known as horizontal-axis windmill. Due to the extraction of wind, blades are rotates. And because of the blade, a mechanism to estate generator is rotates. Hence electricity produced. 

• Solar energy power plant.

           Photovoltaic technology converts one form of energy (sunlight) into another form (eletricity). The science of converting sunlight directly into electricity is known as 'photovoltaic' (PV), wherein photons refers to the light and volts refers to electricity. Here, the sources of energy is solar energy being incident as solar radiation on the earth surface. 

               A solar photovoltaic system is used to generate electricity with high power output. For this purpose, a photovoltaic array is installed to receive solar energy and convert it into electricity. A PV cell consist of layer of semiconductor material, most commonly silicon. 

• Biogas power plant 

                    The main thing in this plant is 'Biomass'. It is defined as, "all plants and animals matter on the earth surface". In other words, biomass is an organic matter from plants., animal and micro organisms grown on land and water including there deactivities. 

                Biomass is converted into biomass. Therecm are several routes for biomass energy conversion process depending upon temperature, pressure, micro organisms utilized, process and the culture condition. Village people use biogas power plant system in wide range. Floating drum is one of the type of biogas power plant. It consist of an underground "cylindrical masonry digester" having an 'inlet for feeding animal dung slurry". 

• Geothermal energy power plant 

               A geothermal power station is a power generation plant in which the prime mover is run by steam. This steam is obtained by burning coal, gas etc. And heating the water in this plant.

               The conversion of power works on the basis of 'rankine cycle'. Conventional thermal power station use to heat water, which creates steam at high pressure. From this, turbine are run to generate electricity.
