Work from Home- Ways to Improve Mental health

In the current COVID-19 situation & past few years, people have realized to give importance to proper diet and exercise. Recent surveys show that people are eating better over the last 20 years and working out more often, resulting in people living longer. However, they still lack an understanding that their mental health and whic are also as important as their physical health.

 

Today most people on average do 4 to 6 hours of exercise daily, but they pay no attention to their mental health, no vacations, not even the occasional long weekend. In addition, during COVID work from home a better way in terms of safety or say a way for extra hour working has forced people to even work on  weekends. All of this for hopes of one day getting that big promotion. This overload of work is breaking people more in terms of both body & mind.

 

In the end your physical health will suffer no matter how well you eat and how often you exercise. You will wind up with high blood pressure, stress and tension all of which raises the chances of you having a stroke or heart attack.

 

With the aim of helping, providing you the following things that I do to keep my mental health in tip top condition.




My absolute favorite thing is to laugh.

Excited to know how?

Daily after you wake up & get free from daily freshen- up routine just relax your mind, take a deep breath & start laughing without your voice for at least 2 minutes in any face expressions.

Sometimes to make it enjoyable while laughing go in front of your wife or in front of your family member.

 

Another great way to relieve the stresses in your life is to practice YOGA for at least 30 minutes which help to put a sparkle in your mental health.

 

Sometimes the most mind relaxing method is to just sit alone(according to me either in morning when Sun rises or at night when stars are twinkling) after sitting just watch the sky, feel air & analyze yourself like what mistakes you made in the past & what you learned.

 

Another way is to leave work & start to spend the most & healthy time with your family because at the end only family stands with you.

 

Another way under lockdown conditions during COVID-19 according to me is COOKING, the best way to make yourself & family happy by making different & favourite dishes for every one.

 

I also enjoy watching an hour or 2 of television mostly about the earth's different creatures, environment etc which in turns not only refresh my mood but also upgrade my knowledge.

 

Video games are also great for stress release, if you are mad at your boss what better way to get it out of you then boxing, just imagine you are pounding on your boss and hope you don’t lose.

 

I hope you try some of these methods or think of some of your own to help keep the stress down in your life and keep your mental health in as good of condition as the rest of you.
