Why Do We Burp?

Why Do We Burp?

Burping                                                                       Burping is natural.

We all are human beings, and we eat food to live, but some of us live to eat food. When our tummy is full and can't load any more food, then we are most likely "Burp" Isn't it?

Of course, the answer would be yes, but we didn't know the exact truth behind the act of Burping. So here we are to figure it out.

What is Burping/Belching/Eructation?

It is mainly the act of expelling air from the stomach through the mouth. It usually occurs when the stomach distends or expands because of too much swallowed air. This may open many eyes who say that it is the result of eating lots of food. When I came to know this, it amazed me and put the light of satisfaction in me for understanding the real reason behind it.

Common causes of this symptom.

Burping can be caused due to the facts that aren't due to underlying disease. For example, it includes the drinking of carbonated beverages, intentionally swallowing air, overeating or physiology

Excessive Burping can sometimes be accompanied by discomfort or bloating. Although these symptoms can interfere somewhat with certain daily activities and they don't indicate a severe underlying condition.

Not really, we all like to burp when we are going out in the places or randomly doing it in front of a person.

Is it right to Burp?

Though it may be unpleasant for you and those around you, Burping is an entirely natural way to get rid of air swallowed during eating and drinking. It's the proven fact that Burping keeps your stomach from expanding too much from swallowed air.

Some people got worried about their burping problem in such a severe manner that they start relating this natural phenomenon with a very deadly disease like "Cancer."

Is Burping a lot a sign of cancer?

Burping has several causative factors and may relate to habit or to an irritant of the gastrointestinal tract that causes air to move upwards to the mouth, most commonly after eating.

However, Burping itself has not been associated with a risk of developing esophageal cancer.

But there is something that we have to worry about.

Is excessive Burping a sign of Heart Problems?

We have to accept the fact that Nausea or feeling sick on your stomach is a less common but possible symptom of a heart attack.

Sometimes Burping can accompany the Nausea, and some patients have described a feeling like indigestion associated with a Heart attack.

However, Burping can be prevented on a daily bases by just following few things.

How can I Stop Burping?

1. Eat or drink more slowly. You're less likely to swallow air.

2. Don't eat things like broccoli, cabbage, beans, or daily products.

3. Stay away from soda and beer.

4. Don't chew gum.

5. Stop smoking.

6. Take a walk after eating your food.

7. Take an Antacid.

See, our life in this era is hectic that we are not able to take good care of our physical health, but no sooner did we start taking small steps than would be a beautiful and healthy future waiting for us.

Further, please "Don't live to Eat" instead, "Eat to Live."

Problems like "Burping" won't exist anymore.
