We know by experience that-
Where there's distress, there's hope;
Where there's hope, there are efforts;
Where there are efforts, there are solutions;
Where there are solutions, there's a success!!!
Communalism, in simple terms, means a strong attachment to one's community. It is a very unhealthy attachment to one's religion! It promotes beliefs in orthodox tenets and principles and hatred of other faiths that resulted in a divide of society. It has been used as a political propaganda tool to create a range between religious groups, mainly Hindus and Muslims, in a country. This divide generally created by our great politicians, and, unfortunately, they do this just for the sake of vote bank politics in which they will gain votes by favoring particular religious groups, and that creates a divide between different religious groups. This led to communal hatred and violence in society. This is an unfortunate situation and reality that is prevalent in Indian culture. It should not be there. Even politicians are self-centric. They generally think of their interests, and this is not good; we all should understand these tactics played by our political leaders.
I want to draw everyone's attention to the role of media too because media disseminates rumors mostly, especially Hindi channels news media groups, which sometimes resulted in further tension and riots between two rival religious groups, mainly Hindu and Muslim. Social media has many advantages, but it has disadvantages also like it emerged as a powerful medium to spread rumors, hatred, and a sense of intense hostility towards other religious groups. We all Indians have a habit of quickly get influenced by the word spoken by others, especially when others tell ourselves while giving great emphasis towards a particular topic. Still, it should not happen because as a human being, we have an excellent capability to use our brain before arriving at the specific thought or view, so we should use our mind knowledge, or we could say wisdom not to get easily influenced when someone is emphasizing on the topic which is not to be stressed by them. But in the 21st-century world, human beings are getting wisdom from various sources, so there's now a little chance that someone got influenced by someone's saying about something. Jn the village areas, people, generally got affected whatever someone says because of the illiteracy prevalent in villages.
We all should not wait for that day to come when this hate becomes so extreme that we will not be able to ask for help from other religious groups when we'd be in a difficult circumstance. This should not be happening. This, we all want indeed! But to get rid of this grave problem of communal violence from getting spread, we all should do something from our part. It is very pertinent to stop spreading this Communalism.
If we all want to see a beautiful India..where everyone wants to cooperate with anyone and to have mutual respect towards other religious groups, then we all should from nowadays have to take steps to prevent Communalism from getting spread in India. The efforts of one and all can do this!!
