The latest news of the school opening can be found in the article schools-colleges-reopen-12-September. Schools, Colleges, and Universities had closed on 17 May 2020 due to Covid-19. When everything was closed, only a few people were dying. Even there weren't any Covid cases before May 17. A few months later, some companies were reopened. Day by day, Covid cases were increasing, though. However, they didn't close companies again. Only schools, colleges, and universities were closed. The government had said that Schools were going to reopen also when Ramadan began. But, schools weren't opened.
A few months later (maybe 6-7 months) Government said that non-government schools are closed so that they can't earn so, we are thinking of donating them. You know what? They only had donated 5000 takas. Does Government mean teachers can live more than a year with only 5000 takas? But, they didn't have anything to say cause they couldn't earn that moment. Some teachers started selling stuff online.
Anyway, they were planning to open colleges, schools, and universities again for taking the HSC exam. Although they didn't open cause, they were saying that Covid cases are increasing too fast. But, before the interview, there were only a few Covid cases daily (approximately 10-15 cases per day and 1-2 death per day). When they said Covid was increasing that day; Covid cases were maybe 40. 2-3 days later, Covid cases had decreased again. So, are they planning not to open Schools, Colleges, and Universities? At that moment,, every single company was open.
Schools, Colleges, and Universities weren't opened that moment,, so they couldn't take the HSC exam. What the Government had planned is that the HSC candidate will "auto pass."
Companies still open; Companies wasn't closed any single time no matter Covid cases increases or decreases.
More than 1000 schools and Colleges were closed in 2020. Maybe there was more than 1 Lakh student. Now, where will they study?
January-February-March had gone somehow. The government had closed some companies (not all) in April when students started the commotion. The government was saying that people are dying a lot every day,, that's why we can't open Schools and Colleges now so that we are going to close companies either. We care about people rather than money. More than 40,000 Covid cases were reported according to WHO.
The government had open companies again in May (at the last of May) when they noticed Covid cases were decreasing. But, they didn't open schools and say that our country isn't safe now, so we can't open now,,, but we will try to open it as soon as possible. Nowadays, Covid cases are too much (after giving vaccination), but companies are still open.
The last year very negligible people had died due to Covid-19 but, Schools weren't opened that moment. Nowadays, lots of people are dying. But, they are thinking of opening schools now? Isn't that a joke? Why is Government keep harming students? They are making students fool.
I had seen some grade 10 students who completely forgot Algebra. Only a a few students are studying (even some brilliant students aren't studying cause they are saying that they lost hope; They don't think schools arewill reopen in 2022). Lots of board examinees have stuck since no board exam is taken. But, Government is taking money from them. Do they really care about people? If so, then why are companies open? If not, then why schools haven't open?
