iPhone 12 lineup is out. It was launched at Apple’s virtual event last night, along with the Apple HomePod mini. The four new iPhone 12 are the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini, the more versatile 6.1-inch iPhone 12, and the top-end 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.
iPhone 12 Pro Max smartphone was launched on 13th October 2020. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1284 × 2778 pixels at a pixel density of 458 pixels per inch (PPI). The iPhone 12 Pro Max supports wireless charging, as well as proprietary fast-charging.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the iPhone 12 Pro max on the rear packs a 12-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture, a second 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a third 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity options on the iPhone 12 pro max include WI-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/yes, GPS Bluetooth v5.00, lightning, 3G, and 4G (with support for band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass/magnetometer. The iPhone 12 Pro has launched with a price tag in India at Rs. 1,19,900 for the 128GB storage variant. The 256GB model is priced at Rs. 1,29,900, whereas the 512GB storage option is priced at Rs. 1,49,900. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, in contrast, starts at Rs. 1,29,900 for the 128GB storage variant. Its 256GB option is priced at Rs. 1,39,900 and the highest, 512GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 1,59,900.
The iPhone 12 Pro will become available in India, South Korea, and a dozen other countries from October 30. It goes up for pre-order in the US (and the rest of the first wave of launch countries) on October 16, with availability from October 23. The iPhone 12 Pro Max India availability is unknown, but it will go up for pre-orders in the first wave of launch countries from November 6 and release on November 13.
In the US, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are priced starting at $999 (roughly Rs. 73,200) and $1,099 (roughly Rs. 80,400).
