Hey, guys today we'll be exploring the idea of SCP 3626 what it is, what it does and how it would affect us if it were real. According to the SCP foundation's official website, SCP 3626 is simply chained maille but it's not your typical. If you read this email and don't forward it to three friends something bad happens. Chain maille oh no SCP 3626 is apparently a chain mail that like most requires you to send the story or mail to someone else or else something horrible happens to you. In the case of SCP 3626 once you start reading it demands that you do not stop or else now you're probably wondering what would happen. If you stopped the reading well like any other chain mail nothing however if you're reading about the SCP in the first place you'll obviously have an interest in it. So you keep going the document claims that when you start reading you will be transported to another dimension and forced to finish reading the document as you continue. You eventually come to learn that if you stop reading the document you'll see horrible illusions which are usually attached to past traumatic personal experiences. The document reads that once you do pass the note on to a colleague or friend your memory of everything that happened will be erased. As you continue reading the document you find pictures that are distorted the document does make mention of the photos. Saying if they are distorted to forward the message immediately as you go on you learn of other SCP foundations. Employees who have read the message and it ends with the option to forward it to another person after you read that you won't be forwarding the message. There's some fear of what may happen and then it says well done another file reads the cycle is broken at the bottom of the document and upon opening that you find out. Now if you guys are like me you may be confused by this whole thing I certainly was but upon reading it a handful of times and doing some further research on threads. Such as Reddit and SCP threads it seems this SCP is one big troll. The idea is that if you don't forward the message to anyone you'll have to deal with an unspeakable fate. Because of this people continue to keep forwarding the message like any other type of mail. You must forward the message to continue to chain however to win or break the chain you must not forward it and by doing so you actually learn that it was all a test. The test was to see how many people would forward the message and it seems the test was set up by a higher power but we're not talking about some sort of godly figure. No, we're talking about being from another dimension and based on the ending of the document saying better luck next time. It seems we didn't rank very high so what if this SCP was really well in a sense it is although this specific chain maille regarding the photos and all isn't necessarily real. We've all been sent chainmail whether it's on facebook email or text. You know the ones that say if you don't pass us on the monster will appear under the bed way you sleep in the EU. Or if you don't send this on the ghost of the person who died that night will haunt you forever this SCP is no different. The only way to stop the effects of it from happening is to stop forward in the chain simple as that and in a sense, the SCP does actually exist. If you think about it what am I talking about right now the SCP chain maille that will only die when people stop passing it.
