Trekking places in Pakistan. Pakistan is more about hospitality, blessed with attractive landscapes and great, zealous people. Its rich natural environment of lakes, rivers, glaciers, mountains, etc. Pakistan hosts the world's three most remarkable mountains that include the incredible Karakoram, the magnificent Himalayas, and the remarkable Hindukush. Pakistan is considered as a spectacular destination in northern areas for intense hikers and trekkers. Pakistan is also considered as a mountainous paradise. The Northern, Gilgit-Baltistan area is the most popular site between trekkers, as trekkers always prefer mountains with the highest peak. Without any delay, I will share my incredible journey to five treks of Pakistan.

Finest treks of Pakistan:

The following treks' sand trails are safe and secure.

1. Karakoram and Himalayas:

It is about 2000 km east to the west journey. It starts from northern Pakistan and extends in a great arc through India, Nepal, and Bhutan, between Karakoram and Himalayas, it contains the world's most significant peaks, and all 14 are higher approximately 8000 meters.

1.1 Karakoram:

It comes in the region of Baltistan, Northern Pakistan. The Karakoram is the most spectacular group of vast mountains. It initiates with a village called Askole, offers a view of various famous 6000 m and 7000 m mounts and several glaciers, with Biafo, the world's 3rd longest. Once you are away from a small green oasis, Karakoram doesn't take long to divulge its beauty.

K2 base camp mainly surrounds hiking over and trooping with the world's 5th largest non-polar glacier, known as Baltoro glacier (63kms). At the end of the Baltoro glacier, you will find Concordia known as Throne Rooms of Mountains God (an extreme view).

Baltoro glacier,

You will find serrated summits and towering cliffs end up either side of the broad valley. At the end of the first day, trekkers have camped beneath the distinctive peak of Bakhor Das, also known as Mango peak due to the summit cone-shaped.

When we extend from Concordia near Hushay valleys over Gondogoro La, this complete trek is commonly titled Gondogoro La trek, and also K2 Gondogoro La trek.

The K2 base camps take around almost 14 days, both up and down, and the best time to visit the Karakoram is July and August. The journey begins at Askoli that is a six-hour drive from Skardu, but a short domestic flight from Islamabad takes only one hour. Some of the people prefer camping, but most of them prefer just visiting, for those, there are nearby some economic resorts, include Junction resort, which is 5.4 miles from Karakoram Mountains, Shandur Paradise Hotel, which is 13.9 from Karakoram Mountains, and United Hotel which is 1.4 from Karakoram Mountains.

Have you ever visited Islamabad, and then this place has your attention already because these hills are found at the entrance of Islamabad. 6 marked trails are located in Margalla Hills National Park, which is entitled as trail 1, 2,3,4,5, and 6. Among these trails, no 3 has a breath-catching view after 30-40 minutes of hiking, and it has short steeps.

Best time to hit:

You may travel to Margalla hills at any time, but I endorse you to visit Margalla hills in summer, autumn, and spring. You can start your journey in the morning so that you reach your destiny in time.

Resorts to Stay in:

Moreover, you only need 3-4 hours to cover the area, but there are many more to explore so that you can stay for a few days in a resort, includes whispering pines resort.

3. Dunga Gali-Ayubia Trek:

This is the best trekking place for beginners. This place is also known as the Pipeline tract by many residents since it follows the itinerary of water pipelines that are used to serve the historic hills station of Murree. If you want to catch Pine forests and stunning scenarios within the lens, then there won't be an any better place than the Dunga Gali-Ayubia track to visit.

It also suggests an easy climb starting from Dunga Gali till Ayubia inside Ayubia National Park. If you start your journey from Islamabad, it only takes 2 hours to reach there.

4. Chitta Katha Lake:

Pakistan is presenting Chitta Katha Lake for unique pockets of lakeside paradise, ringed mirror surfaces, along with green nestled in serrated snow-peaked mountains, I assure, and you will fall in love with this place. It is located in Shouter Vallery, in a Kashmir region, an area of Pakistan that is not far away from Angar Khel. It is the elevation of about 13,500 feet (4100 m).

The hike to Chitta Katha Lake starts with the Jeep ride from Khel to Counter, and this is a point where you need a guide as the track is not marked. The climb from the Counter to the lake goes approximately 3000 to 4000. The scenario changes from alpine forest to barren.

5. Nanga Parbat:

I felt lucky to discuss this part of the Northern area and blessed to see such a beautiful place. You will feel and see the intense view after visiting this place and make unforgettable memories. If you visit the Fairy Meadows, it is as magical as its name is.

Best time to hit:

I visited this place in February, August, and September. It is challenging in February because of the waist-deep snow in this place. But if you stay at any time like hills are not covered with snow, you can camp on Nanga Parbat, almost 8 hours round trip.

Conclusion:

The adequate time to cover this place is in summers. You will require a week to explore the musical site, Fairy Meadow and Nanga Parbat, but can stay for a month too.
