Top unsuccessful manager in football history

In the history of football, many great footballers move to other places after retirement. Some of the footballers are associated with football. After retirement, some great players involved with the football as a professional referee, some are involved as a commentator. Every time, we heard many voices during the game. A few numbers of star footballers are focusing on coaching. But the number of coaches from ordinary footballers is not very low. Some of them are the most successful coaches. Just one or two-star players are successful as a coach. They maintained their team very nicely. Again, some star footballers are completely failed in their new identity.

1. Paul Gascoigne

This former England player was very successful in his career as a footballer. But after retirement, he did not have a pleasant experience as a coach. He took charge of a Boston United in 2004. He resigned from the club after 11 matches due to personal reasons. Then, in late 2005, he took charge of Catering United. This time the result is more terrible. He survived as a coach for only 39 days. After that, he was fired from the team. Then he had to go to rehab for various reasons. If he fits, there will be a few chances of seeing him again as a coach.

2. Tony Adams

He won the league title twice as a captain for Arsenal. Tony Adams is still considered one of the best defenders of all time in England. But after a successful playing career, he could not take advantage of being a coach. He retired from football in 2002. After retiring, he took brake one year from football. Then he returned as a coach. He took charge of Wanderers. In his first season coaching career was not good, the team was relegated. He resigns a fourth month later after starting the second season. Then he was the manager of Portsmouth, but still, his performance was not good as a coach. He was dismissed for just ten points in sixteen matches. The Spanish club took on responsibility and brought more bad results. Granada lost all their seven-match in that period. The result was predictable.

3. Alan Shearer

Alan Shearer holds the record for most goals in the premier league so far. He was one of the best footballers in the world. The Newcastle legend has never been heard of as a coach since his retirement.  After three years, he was coming back as a coach and took charge of his old team. Under his coaching career, Newcastle United was failed to qualify for the EFL Championship. In that period, the team was played eight matches and won only one match; the team earns only 5 points out of twenty-four points. After that, Newcastle did not appoint him as a full-time coach.

4. Gary Neville

In his time, he was also a very good player. He was a player in Manchester United. He is still working as a commentator at Sky Sports. He was the assistant coach of England in 2004, and his team was out of the world cup in the group stage. He was also the coach of Valencia, but after four-month, he was dismissed again. Then he has not been the coach of any other club.
