Google Pixel 6: Pixel Perfect

Google Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro: Everything you need to know | Tech Advisor

Considerably cheaper than the rest of the flagship phones on this list, Google's Pixel 6 is once again a true Android tour de force. Not only does it significantly undercut the competition in terms of price, but it also matches them in terms of performance, thanks to Google's new Tensor chipset. A significant speed boost over last year's model - a 75% increase in our tests - the Pixel 6's dual cameras are also virtually flawless.

It's also the perfect flagship for Android 12. There's no better showcase for the latest version of Google's mobile operating system, which brings a radically updated look and feels thanks to the new "Material You" design language. If you're an avid photographer or just looking for the best Android can get, the Pixel 6 certainly won't disappoint.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Best Smartphone, 2022

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S22 Infographic Reveals Display and Camera Specs - WhatMobile news

The most complete high-end phone the company has made to date, it might cost you a bit more than the other phones on this list, but the Galaxy S22 Ultra is the best Android smartphone on the market right now.

Samsung's latest big-screen beauty got a bit of a facelift this year, with a new burgundy color and a fancy new camera array. Internal upgrades to Samsung's proprietary Exons 2200 processor make it one of the most powerful smartphones we've ever tested. Likewise, the Galaxy S22 Ultra's cameras continue to impress with improved zooms.

But perhaps the biggest news this year is the inclusion of Samsung's S Pen stylus. Borrowed from the Note series, this little festive logo is a great tool and worth spending more.

If you're after the best Android can do, make no mistake, it doesn't get much better than the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

iPhone 13 Pro: Best iPhone 2022

Apple Devices that Have Been Discontinued and Discounted Following iPhone 13 Arrival

Unlike 2020 – where the standard iPhone 12 won out over its Pro-branded sibling – the 2021 iPhone 13 Pro is undoubtedly the one to beat.

At first glance, the iPhone 13 Pro uses the familiar 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display, but Apple has finally decided to bring Promotion to the iPhone; the panel now achieves a super-smooth 120Hz. The notch is also 20% smaller.

When it comes to cameras, you can expect bigger sensors and faster apertures that mean better low-light performance, and much more comparable quality.

What's more, the iPhone continues to lead the way when it comes to shooting video, gaining some smart new features like Cinema Mode, giving you more control over how your footage looks at the moment.

Pair this Promotion technology with the phone's powerful A15 Bionic chip and larger battery, and you can expect a significant increase in battery life; from this two-day iPhone on a single charge.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3: Best Folding smartphone 2022

Tired of smartphones that are bigger and heavier when all you want are new ways to use your phone? Samsung's third attempt at a flip phone seems to have struck the right balance between whimsy, technical prowess, and price point, making the Galaxy Z Flip 3 appealing to the average user.

For $999, this 4.2-inch handheld can be converted to a 6.7-inch 1080p OLED display that's bright and has a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Battery life is also fine, offering four to five hours of screen time between charges.

Both the 12-megapixel standard wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle rear cameras, as well as the 10-megapixel front-facing selfie camera, take good but not great photos. Due to the Galaxy Z Flip 3 form factor, it can double as a mobile tripod for cameras, bringing new fun ways to take pictures.

 Find X5 Pro: Excellent Cameras

The 6.7-inch 10-bit 120Hz QHD+ panel is one of the best displays on any phone right. It backs it up with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, a 5000mAh battery, and a top-notch camera that boasts 50Mp sensors on both the main and ultra-wide lenses.

You'll have to live without the periscope zoom lens – the telephoto lens here is a paltry 2x zoom – but the results from all three rear lenses are exceptional. The design is also unique, thanks to the smoothly sloping camera module built directly into the ceramic of the phone body.

In terms of sheer performance, the  Find X5 Pro is also hard to beat, with all of the above, plus a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 256 GB of storage, and 12 GB of RAM. You just have to be willing to pay the price because it's not cheap.
