Top 10 list of safest cars, Mahindra and Tata top among the safest cars in the country

Safety globe car safety agency New Car Assessment Program has recently released a list of the safest cars available in India.

Mahindra's SUV, India's safest car, has once again bagged the number one spot. 

The list includes 6 Indian cars among the 7 safest cars. Here is the list of top 5 cars. 

The results are based on tests of cars in the Indian market between 2014 and 2020.

 

This information comes from statistics from the Global New Car Assessment Program. 

A British charity is running an assessment program aimed at building safer cars for roads around the world. 

In fact, only Indian car manufacturers are coming in with a score of 5 out of 5 in terms of adult occupant safety.

Cars sold in the country will be assigned by star ratings based on their safety performance. It will be implemented in phases, according to the plans being drawn up by the National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project. It is the 10th NCAP in the world and is being set up by the government of India.

This crash test is about the safety of a car that collides with a car at a very high speed.

David Warner, president of Global NCAP, said the Global Nuclear Assessment Program is neutral in terms of the area of ​​manufacture of different car companies. 

Interestingly, Tata and Mahindra are doing well in building safer cars on the roads for India. 

He said that India has made a lot of progress in this regard in the last few years. 

Over the past decade, domestic car companies in India have made significant contributions to the safety of cars running on the country's roads.

 

1.Mahindra XUV 300

The car has topped the list of India's safest. The car has received 5 out of 5 stars in the crash test. 

This car has been number one in terms of safety since 2014.

 

2.Tata Altroz

Tata's Altroz ranks second on this list. Talking about the features of Tata Ultroge, these two engines come with options. 

It has a 1.2 liter petrol engine with 86 bhp power and a 1.5 liter diesel engine with 90 bhp power. 

Both engines will be BS6 compliant, along with a 5-speed manual gearbox in the car.

 

3.Tata Nexon

Tata's car has been ranked second in the crash test. The car has received 5 stars in the Adult Safety rating. 

The car then received 3 stars in a crash test for child safety.

 

4.Tata Tigor / Tiago

Tata Tigor and Tiago have also made their place in the top 5. The car received 4 stars in the Adult Safety rating while the car received 3 stars in the crash test for child safety.

 

5.Volkswagen Polo

German carmaker Volkswagen Polo has been given a 4 star rating in the Adult Safety Rating. 

The car has received 3 stars in terms of child safety. 

Equipped with Volkswagen Connect, the car offers features such as trip tracking, behavior and statistical tracking, location sharing and fuel cost monitoring.

6.Mahindra Marazzo

It is the safest multi-purpose vehicle in India according to the Global NCAP. ... The Marazzo scored 12.85 out of 17 points in the adult safety ratings. 

In the child occupant safety, it scored 22.22 points out of 49.

 

7.Toyota Etios

8.Maruti Suzuki's Vitara Brezza

India's largest selling SUV, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has scored a 4 Star rating in the latest tests conducted by the Global NCAP. 

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza scored a 4 star rating for front adult occupant safety and scored a 2 Star rating for rear seat child safety.

 

9Tata's zest

Tata Zest scores 4 star in Global NCAP crash test. The standard non-airbag version resulted in zero star score for adult occupant protection and one star for child occupant protection.

 

10.Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. 

Kicking off the list is the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV with a 3-star safety rating. 

It scored 9.25 out of 17 in adult occupant protection and 25.16 out of 49 in child protection.

So this is the safest car in India.
