1. Wheel

The Wheel is the most famous and important invention that has influenced several things. This is the technology that made it easier for all of us to travel. It is the oldest invention from Mesopotamia. The wheel serves a vital purpose in our lives, and we could not imagine the world without it. 

The wheel has made everything possible in our life. It has made our traveling so easy. Now we can reach any part of the world in a short time. 

2. Compass

Compass is created for navigational purposes. The compass was most likely invented b the Chinese in around 1050 BC. It is made up of lodestones, which is naturally magnetized iron ore.

The electromagnet was invented in 1825, which led to the development of the modern compass. The Compass helped us to develop a modern GPS.

3. Steam Engine

Thomas Savery invented the First Steam engine in 1698. It was one of the important inventions made by a man who has changed the lives of people. James Watt improved the version of the steam engine. 

During the 1899s, these engines lead to an improvement in transportation, agriculture, and manufacturing industries. The invention of the steam engine prompted the rise of cars and aircraft during the 20th Century.

4. Automobile

 Karl Benz invented the modern car in 1886. Henry Ford innovated mass-production techniques. The invention of the automobile creates a worldwide evolution.

With the invention of the automobile, oil and steel became two well-established industries. It has also increased our economic status. Moreover, It influences the technological advances in petroleum refining, steel making, and other industrial activities. 

5. Concrete

Concrete is the most widely used human-made material. Earlier, Limestone was used as crude cement. As the material improved, modern concrete has invented. One of the key ingredients of the concrete is cement. The cement was invented in 1300 BC. 

By 6500 BC, the first concrete-like structure was built by the Nabataea readers in southern Syria. By 700 BC, the significance of hydraulic lime was built, which was used to develop the mortar supply kilns to construct rubble-wall houses and underground waterproof cisterns.

By 3000 BC, the Egyptians were using an early form of concrete to build pyramids. In 1824, the most used concrete was invented by Joseph Aspdin of England. By the end of the 19th century, the use of steel-reinforced concrete was developed. 

6. Petrol

Without Petrol, we cannot think about the industrial revolution in the world. Petrol is a natural substance. Petrol is a non-degradable natural resource of energy. It is a derivative of oil, which is shortly called 'gas' in the United States and 'petrol' in other places. 

In 1859, in Pennsylvania, Edwin Drake dug the first oil well and refined the oil to produce kerosene. 

Sylvanus Bowser manufactured the first petrol pump on 5th September 1885. 

7. Railways

The railway is the cheapest means of transport. It carries a large number of passengers with ease of comfort and carries heavy loads to long distances. In 1821, Stephenson was appointed as an engineer for constructing the Stockton and Darlington railway, which was the first public railway in 1825. 

Railway created history in Diesel Engine. After the steam engine's invention, more researchers were carried out throughout the world for a better design. 

8. Aeroplane

Wilbur and Orville Wright invented the first airplane. The Wright brothers got the biggest successes in creating the airplane. Several people being trained to fly planes. Now we can fly over thousands of miles in less time. It could not be possible to reach so far in less time without the invention of the airplane. 

The airplane is a faster and expensive means of transport. With this invention, the World has become too short. People can find job opportunities in other countries and settle their lives there. 

9. Fire

Fire is a natural substance. All thanks to our ancestors for inventing the fire. People cannot survive without fire. Fire is used for delicious cooking. The remarkable control of fire happened during the Early Stone Age by Homo erectus. 

From the past to the present, the fire has been used in rituals, agriculture, cooking, generating heat and light, etc. 

10. Electricity

Electricity is the basic need for day to day life; Alessandro Volta discovered the first practical method of generating electricity. In 1831, British Scientist Michael Faraday discovered the basic principles of electricity generation.

We cannot imagine our life without electricity. Electricity has changed the lives of people in true terms. It is also the backbone of industrial society. Now human life totally depends on electricity.

11. Printing Press

Before the invention of the Internet, the printing press was the mode of information travel worldwide. In 1140, Johnson Gutenberg improved an already existing press in Germany. During 1500, Gutenberg presses were making 20 million copies. By 1600, they had created history by making 200 million new books.

12. LIght Bulb

This energy was a bright idea developed more than 150 years ago. Edison and   Salwa developed the first light bulb in 1879. In the mid-1980s, CFL was developed. But they were of very high cost, low light output, and inconsistent performance. 

Now LEDs offer the best energy savings In the market. With the invention of the bulb, new businesses were opened for the people. They are used in electric transmission, power plants, and home appliances. 

13. Battery

Alessandro Volta invented the first electronic battery. He laid the foundation of Electrochemistry. The invention of the first rechargeable battery based on lead-acid by the French physician Gaston Plante.

14. Tools

The use of tools was started in Ethiopia about 2 million years ago. Earlier, Sticks and stones made tools.  The invention of machine tools started the industrial revolution. 

15. Internet

Nobody today is unaware of the internet. Now the Internet has become a vital and essential part of our life. It has made the whole world so smaller. In the 1960s, a team of scientists in the USA built a communication network to connect ARPANET computers. It was used for the data transmission.
