1. A Floating Post Office:- 

India has the most widely distributed postal network in the world, with 154965 post offices ( as on 31.03.2017). The country has been divided into 23 postal circles, each circle headed by a chief postmaster general. The floating post office was inaugurated in August 2011 at Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir by India post.

2. Mysterious Anti-gravity Hills In Ladakh, Magnetic Hill:- 

Magnetic hill is located near Leh in Ladakh, India. It's just an optical illusion that makes the downhill roads look like an uphill road because of this magnetic hill. So when the vehicle is going uphill, it is actually going downhill. It is 7·5 km southeast of Nimmoo and 26·5 km west of Leh on Srinagar-Ladakh road. 

3. The Highest Cricket Ground In The World:- 

The Chail cricket ground is the world's highest cricket ground, which is there at an altitude of 2444 m was owned by the erstwhile royal family of Patiala in 1893. Chail is a hill station in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is 44 km from Shimla and 45 km from Solan. 

4. The Temple Of Rats In Rajasthan:-

Karni Mata Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Karni Mata at Deshnoke. It is 30 km from Bikaner in Rajasthan, India. It is also known as the Temple Of Rats. The temple is famous for the approximately 25000 black rats that live in the temple. These holy rats are called Kabbas. Out of all the thousands of rats in the temple, there are few white rats that are considered to be especially wholy .

 

5. Roopkund The Skeleton Lake:- 

Roopkund, which is also known as Mysterious Lake or Skeleton Lake, is a high altitude glacial lake in the Uttarakhand state of India. Roopkund lake is famous for its ancient human skeleton found at a depth of about 3 m. The human's skeleton is visible at its bottom when the snow melts. Research shows that sudden hailstorms in the ninth century killed many people. Because of the humans remain, the lake has been called Skeleton Lake in recent times. 

6. Shani Shingnapur in Maharashtra is a Village No Doors:-

Shani Shingnapur is a village in the Indian state of Maharashtra. The village is known for the famous temple of Lord Shani, the Hindu god associated with the planet Saturn. No house in this village has a door because they believe Lord Shani to be the guardian of the village.

In 1963 Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched its first Rocket from Thumba Equatorial Launching Station. It was so light and small that it was transported on a bicycle to the Thumba Launching Station in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerela.

8. The Wettest Inhabited Place In The World:- 

Mawsynram is a village in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya state. Mawsynram receives the highest rainfall in India. It is the wettest place on the earth, with an average annual rainfall of 11872 millimeters. 

             According to the Guinness Book of World records, Mawsynram received 26000 millimeters of rainfall in 1985. 

9. India's First President Only Took 50% Of His Salary:- 

When Dr. Rajendra Prasad was appointed the first president of Independent India, he only took 50% of his monthly salary, claiming he did not require more than that. 

10. India Is The Second Largest English Speaking Nation:-
