(Pocket-lint) - Sony's PlayStation 5 is finally here. While there are already some great games to enjoy at launch, there will be more to come in the months to come.

Best PlayStation 5 Games: Amazing PS5 Titles to Choose From We've rounded up the top contenders, right here for you, from confirmed releases to games we're sure are in the works, including new teasers wherever they exist.

there are your top 10 best upcoming PS5 games:

1: Outriders

Release Date: Holidays 2020

PS5 exclusive: No, also on Xbox Series X, PS4, and Xbox One

Publisher: Square Enix

Stop us if you've heard this before, but outriders is a loot shooter in the mold of Destiny or The Division 2 - it has a focus on multiplayer action. It has a much rougher tone and also has a lot more play for you to see.

The game is in development as a cross-generation title, which means that it will be released on PS4 and PS5. However, players of the latter hardware can obviously expect an increase in performance and graphics.

2:Hitman iii

Release Date: January 2021

PS5 Exclusive: No

Publisher: IO Interactive

After the slow-motion success IO enjoyed with Hitman and Hitman 2, he's completing his new trilogy with a third installment that looks absolutely gorgeous. The trailer we've seen shows locations as ambitious as any we've played so far, and we're anticipating more ways to defeat our objectives than ever before.

Released in January 2021, it will be one of the first big third-party games for next-gen consoles, which is always an exciting time.

3:Far Cry 8

Release Date: February 18, 2021

PS5 Exclusive: No

Publisher: Ubisoft

The latest in the Far Cry series is on its way, and it looks like it will be as explosive as ever. It's set on the fictional island of Yara, which you can clearly see is Cuban-inspired, and it looks colorful and fun, with a wide range of weapons, vehicles, and allies to call on.

4:Death loop

Release Date: Q2 2021

PS5 exclusive: No, also on PC

Publisher: Bethesda

This sleek, tactical stealth shooter is from the genius team at Arkane Studios who did an amazing job on the Dishonored series, and it looks like it takes a few sheets from that book. A Groundhog Day-style time loop looks like it will be an enjoyable challenge to get out.

5:Final Fantasy XVI

Release date: 2021

PS5 exclusive: No, also on PC

Publisher: Square Enix

The next main game in the legendary Final Fantasy series will be a PS5-exclusive console, at least for a while, and the first trailer looks absolutely great. It's a return to a tighter fantasy realm, along with a braver style and a combat system that seems more responsive than ever. We can't wait to find out more and give it a try.

6:Hogwarts legacy

Release date: 2021

PS5 exclusive: No, also on Xbox es X and PC

Publisher: Warner Bros

It's finally happening: a proper, big-budget game set in the wonderful world of Harry Potter (even if it's ditching its name). This sprawling RPG has finally had a trailer, and it looks absolutely amazing, although we look forward to learning more about exactly what structure it will take. Players will have their own wizard to guide them through 1800's Hogwarts and the world around it, all bringing new stories to the table.

7:Resident Evil 8

Release date: 2021

PS5 Exclusive: No

Publisher: Capcom

Unsurprisingly, the next chilling chapter in Square Enix's beloved series is coming to PS5, although we honestly weren't expecting in announcement so soon. It seems like another terrifying chapter, this time returning to a more rural setting reminiscent of the classic days of Resident Evil 4.

We know it will arrive in 2021, so we shouldn't wait too long for more information.

8:Horizon: Forbidden West

Release date: 2021?

PS5 Exclusive: Yes

Publisher: Guerilla

Horizon: Zero Dawn was a cult hit of the PS4 era - it garnered rave reviews at launch and has drawn more and more players to its lush single-player adventure over time. People were crying out for a sequel, and they are getting it; It seems that this time Aloy is traveling to the rest of the United States.

It looks absolutely gorgeous in this presentation, with new mechanical monsters and adversaries to overcome, and it's meant to be a showcase for the PS5's graphical capabilities. Sadly, we don't have a release window yet, so we'd be surprised if it arrived before 2021.

9:Gran Turismo 7

Release date: 2021?

PS5 Exclusive: Yes

Publisher: Sony

One of the great old names in racing games is coming to the PS5, just as we expected: the next Gran Turismo looks like it will once again push the limits in terms of graphic fidelity and realism, with a revamped campaign mode that should be a bit easier for players to get familiar.

The extended trailer above makes it look as amazing in motion as you wish, although we don't have a firm release date yet. That's a bit of a problem because we all know that Gran Turismo games don't tend to come out of the oven quickly.

10:Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart

Release date: 2021?

PS5 Exclusive: Yes

Publisher: Insomniac

Insomniac is really doing Sony's business today, surprising no one. Along with the upcoming Spider-Man, he has a new Ratchet and Clank adventure in the form of Rift Apart. It looks like another happy and colorful game, with a new twist.

Players will move transdimensional at knots speed, it seems, which should act as a wonderful showcase for the PS5's ultra-fast SSD load times. It should be a barrel of laughter and fun!
