The most beautiful country in the world

Bhutan, the only carbon hostile country globally, is the most beautiful country in the world in my eyes.

According to the country's claim - Bhutan produces 1.5 million tons of carbon per year, while their forests absorb about 6 million tons of carbon.

The things I like about Bhutan are:

  • While all countries of the world see GDP-Gross Domestic Production as an indicator of development, GNH-Gross National Happiness is considered an indicator of improvement in Bhutan. In other words, the development of the country will depend on the happiness of the total population of Bhutan. Bhutan introduced this extraordinary concept in 1972.
  • Bhutan is a tobacco-free country. Smoking is completely banned in Bhutan.
  • According to the constitution of Bhutan, it is mandatory to keep a 60 percent forest. At present, the total forest cover of the country is 72 percent.
  • Despite being a developing country, Bhutan offers free education and medical care.
  • The use of any pesticides, chemical fertilizers in agricultural work is prohibited. They cultivate traditionally using organic manure.
