COVID-19, a disease also known as the Coronavirus, was discovered in December 2019. It was at first found in Wuhan, the capital of China, but now it has spread to many countries like United States, Australia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and many more. The common symptoms of this disease include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. From fourth April 2020, more than 1,100,000 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in 200 countries and territories, resulting in more than 58,000 deaths, and more than 226,000 people have recovered.

This virus, COVID-19, mainly spreads during close contact and by respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, and talks. The COVID-19 is not generally airborne. Maintaining reasonable social distance (about 6 feet) is very important in preventing the spread of COVID-19.

UNITED NATIONS says that the global economy could shrink by up to 1 percent in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The analysis by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) said the COVID-19 epidemic is disrupting the global supply chains and international trade. With nearly 100 countries closing national borders during the past month, the movement of people and tourism flows have come to a halt.
How the COVID-19 is affecting people
Due to the COVID-19, the countries which are affected by it are closing down the areas which are in the most danger of being affected by the Coronavirus. The areas which are being closed down or in short lockdown allow no one to go out or to go in without a particular reason. The children who are all used to going outside and playing with their neighbors or friends are now in their house and cannot get out. One day or two days are ok, but the lockdowns go on for days. This effects children and some adults (who like to go out every day). The children are bored in their house with nothing to do. The main problem is the school, some schools are giving online lessons but all of them cannot so the studies are going to be delayed, which will be bad for every child. Even so, the children cannot meet their friends, neighbors, and cousins whom they want to meet. And for adults, who does business is not earning like they used to right now because of the Coronavirus. For those who do jobs, they are also having trouble right now. The faster this COVID-19 goes away; the faster things become better. So let's hope that this virus will not stay for long.

Because the Coronavirus spreads during close contact, you should try to leave your house as less as possible, because if the virus does not spread, you are going to be safe.
