So It was 10 Feb 2019, when I gave interview with IndiGo Airlines and it was an amazing Interview. I was very happy and satisfied that I would definetly get selected. Getting a Job in Aviation was always my dream from my childhood. So I was confident on my skills and hoping for the best.
Two days passed, but did not recieve any information with respect to my Interview. And finally on 12 Feb 2019 in the evening arround 19:30 hrs , I got an email from IndiGo Airlines that I have been selected as a Customer Service Officer - Ramp. So basically Ramp was a designation were in I had to manage my team and work on airside and focus on safety and security of aircraft and every personnel working on there.
So I was very excited to perform that role and also proud that I was selected for that role. Henceforth, I was asked to send my documents along with medical reports within 3 days for verification purpose.
And then I successfully got my documents verified till 16 Feb 2019 and was eagarly waiting for training schedule and join the company as soon as possible. I was asked to wait for the next mail to be recieved where in it will be mentioned about my training details and flight tickets and the date of joining.
So again I was ver much excited and use to check my mail acoount on daily hourly basis. I got little nervous because it was 22 Feb 2019 and I still I did not recieve any details or information from Headoffice.
Finally on 24th Feb 2019 by morning 10:00 hrs I recieved an e-mail from IndiGo Head office stating that your training has been scheduled from 26th Feb to 24th Mar 2019. Also find the flight tickets confirming your journey.
In my life I had never travelled in an aeroplane. So I was very happy and it was an awesome feeling reading the mail. I shared it with my parents and they blessed me and wished me all the best for future role.
My parents were there for me for constant support and they never pressurised me for anything. They just said "Work with full courage and determination" and achieve your dream job.
So the news was spread that I had been selected at Airport for job. Hence I recieved many congratulations and good luck from my family members and relatives and friends. People in my family basically the relatives were very curious and super excited to see me working at the Airport.
This is because people always had a mindset of working at the Airports is a great thing and its a prestigious job. And now I was going to work at the airside, having aircrafts all arround me. Hence for these people it sounds so great as we always dreamt of flying and working besides the aircraft once in a life time.
My sole motive was to make my family fly in an airplane and make them proud and explain everyone that how cool their son is.
Finally, it was a Dream Come True.
