That is why sleep is so crucial. Sleep is a natural stress reliever. Our bodies use sleep to repair and restore themselves. Our bodies perform important restorative functions while we sleep. Our brains clean themselves of toxins and sort out the events of the day. Our bodies are also capable of self-repair and restoration. It's incredible how active our minds and bodies are even when we're sleeping.
