I give the ending of The Witcher season 1 a four out of five stars. Even though some parts were confusing, it was pretty solid and will make fans of the Witcher series want to watch season 2. Although, the ending left me wanting more. That's when I realized The Witcher season 1 might have been a sign that Geralt and Ciri are part of a bigger and mysterious story. Release date and spoilers for season 2
First of all, fans can't confirm yet whether The Witcher season 2 will be out in 2019 or not. However, the wait might be a little longer than the first season, which came out in October of 2017. Additionally, the directors themselves will not be working on season 2. Like in the first season, Polish director Michal Szostak and his team will be directing the new series. Additionally, the crew will not be taking on The Witcher 2 games. Instead, the new season will revolve around the first game's events with a completely new main character.
