Now DTH subscribers have to get KYC, TRAI issued new rule

New Delhi, Tech Desk. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India  ( TRAI ) changed the DTH tariff rules this year and introduced new rules. 

However, after that many subscribers had complained that plans have become expensive for them under the new rule. At the same time, now TRAI has implemented another new rule that now KYC will have to be made mandatory for every DTH subscribers. 

The new TRAI rule has been implemented for existing and DTH subscribers. If you talk about KYC, this process will be the same as when taking a new SIM. in such a situation , any user takes a new connection from now on will have to get KYC done . Only when this process is complete will the user be given a new DTH connection and set-top-box will be installed. At the same time , existing subscribers have been given 2 years to get KYC.
