List of Continent wise Nobel Prize winners

             This Article for the first person from different continent who won Nobel Prize for his contribution in his own filed.

(1) Asia :

• RabindranathTagore:               The 1st Asian Nobel Prize winner was Rabindranath Tagore. He was born in Kolkata on 7th May 1861. He was the greatest poet and writer. He won Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913 for his great poetry "Geetanjali". He was not only a writer but also a composer and a painter. He was the founder of Vishvabharti University and he wrote the national anthem of two countries India & Bangladesh.

(2) Africa :

• Albert Luthuli :         The 1st African Nobel Prize winner was Albert Luthuli he was born in Bulawayo (Shouthern Rohdesia) in 1898. He was a South African teacher, activist and politician. He won Nobel Prize in Peace in 1960 for his role in the Non-violent struggle agaist apartheid.

(3) Europe :

      There were many geniuses in european continent who won Nobel Prize in the same year (1901) and before it.

• Wilhelm Rontgen :                     Wilhelm Rontgen was a German Michanical Engineer & Physicist. He was born in Lennep (Germany) on 27th March 1845. He won Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901 for his invention X-ray. His discovery of  X- ray was a great revolution in the filed of Physics , Medicine and electrified the general public. He was known as father of diagnostic radiography.
• Jacobus Henricus van't Hoff ,Jr. :                        Jacobus Henricus was a Dutch physical chemist. He was born in Rotterdam (Netherland) on 30th August 1852. He won Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1901 for his extraordinary services the discovery of the laws of chemical dynamics and osmotic pressure.
• Emil Von Behring :                         Emil Von Behring was a German physiologist. He was born in Hansdorf (Poland) on 15th March 1854. He won Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1901 for his discovery of a diphtheria antitoxin. He was the 1st Nobel Prize winner in Medicine in the world.
• Rene Francois Armand (Sully Prudhomme) :                            Rene Francois Armand was a French Poet and Essayist. He was born in Paris (France) on 16th March 1839. He won Nobel Prize in Literature in 1901. He was the 1st Nobel Prize winner in Literature in the world. The special recognition of his poetic composition was a rare combination of the qualities of both heart and intellect.
• Henry Dunant :                             Henry Dunant was a Swiss humanitarian. He was born in Geneva (Switzerland) on 8th May 1928. He won Nobel Prize in peace in 1901 for his role in Internation Redcross Movement. He was the 1st Nobel Prize winner in peace in the world.
• Fedric Passy :                                 Fedric Passy was a French Economist. He was born in Paris (France) on 22nd May 1922. He also won Nobel Prize in peace with Henry Dunant for his role in International Redcross Movement.

(4)  North America :

• Theodore Roosevelt :                         Theodore Roosevelt was 26th President of The USA. He was born on 27th October 1858 in New York city. He became the 1st North American to win a Nobel Prize. He was awarded the nobel peace prize in 1906 for his work surrounding the treaty of portsmouth , which ended the Russo-Japanese war.

(5) South America :

• Lucila Godoy Alcayaga :                         Lucila Godoy Alcayaga (Gabriela Mistral) was poetess, Educator and Hunamist. She was born on 7th April 1889 in Vicuna (Chile). She become the 1st South American to win a Nobel Prize in Literature. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1945 for her lyric poetry.

(6) Australia :

• Patrick White :                                 Patrick White was an Australian writer. He was born on 28th May 1912 in Knightsbridge(London). He became the 1st Australian to win a Nobel Prize in literature. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1973 for his an epic and phychological narrative art which has introduced a new continent into literature.
