Dear readers....A debate for generation to come. Two great player separated by just a generation. Is it destined Kohli just come after Sachin retires?? They even played few games together. Comparison in sports is always been there. Some when two or three greats play together like we can take case of tenns when Federer, Novak, Nadal are playing together or some when they are separated by generations like Maradona vs Messi.There is comparison between player of two generation sometimes when they are of same team in team sport games or when they are of different team. Is it justified comparing them. Can we ever compare them? On what basis we should compare. There are so many answer like based on statistics, based on position and many more. Are the answer convincing enough. They might be convincing to one but not to other. But there have been comparison and there will be.
One question arises why there have been comparison. Does this affect the finance? Does it affect the emotions. Does it help in any way. The obvious answer is yes. Therefore there have been comparison. Its one of the ways to attract crowds at huge stadiums, to increase viewership. So this will keep on happening. Can we stop it? Why we should stop..............
So Sachin vs Kohli.........without stats...
Two great players of two generation of same team(INDIA) and one still playing. One even termed GOD and called as Great Sachin Tendulkar and other called as King Kohli.Sachin who had not so great team with him and with huge burden of expectation on his shoulders called one man army. People stop working when he came out to bat and Television where switched off when he got out. Kohli the batsmen who is known as the master of chases. So batting capability hard to compare as both have different generation of bowlers to face and both have different team with them (Mind you ......there is major difference when you have different set of players with you.......it affects your performance).
Debate would be very lengthy even without stats and i will try to end the comparison on a bit different note. In cricket you have major three role to play batting, bowling and fielding. One can add as a captain. Sachin as a bowler is definiltely above Kohli no stats required for this and Kohli as captain is definitely above no stats for this.
