Knowledge is a great power

knowledge is great power. We attain not only material wealth but also inner peace with knowledge. In our religion, it is compulsory for every individual to get knowledge. It is such a thing as no one can steal. Without knowledge, nobody can recogenize his self and thus remains ignorant of the purpose of his creation throughout his life. Man can become the cause of betterment of his society and nation by getting knowledge.                                              A teacher holds the central position in every educational system of the world. All the educational goals and academic activities are futile, unless a teacher instils life into these activities with his charismatic personality. Spacious buildings, comprehensive syllabi, old and modern teaching methodologies, laboratories and costly audio-visual aids are useless without a teacher. A teacher makes education purposeful and meaningful. He awakens and develops the hidden faculties of the children. We will have to increase the number of trained teachers if we want to promote education. Teacher provides guidance to those people who are to manage the duties of the country and the nation after a few years. In this way, he strengthens the foundations of the society. So, a teacher should be appointed carefully, and provided with better circumstances.                                                         The education and training of the child begins at home. It is, therefore, the foremost duty of parents to set an example of an ideal character to their child. They should adopt good manners and conduct. They should always remember that their children certainly imitate their conduct in everyday life. Therefore, in the prensence of childern, they should behave in a kind and civilized way, and be honest truthful in all matters of daily life.
