What is 5G?
Now finally 5G technology is coming in the stage. Not working in India. No doubt it is high-speed technology. it's mostly useful in IoT (internet of things) and artificial intelligence devices. So 5G is helpful in wireless communication between IoT devices such as driverless cars.
It is clear that 5G wavelengths have shorter and it is about 1000 feet and 4G wavelengths have a range of about 10 miles. 5G can transfer or carry a lot of data but in a shorter range and many towers are required to provide 5G services to our telecom sector which practically high costly and the population to use services in a particular area is also affected. should you still think to buy a 5G smartphone?
Buy 5G smartphone is a waste of money
If you are buying 5G smartphones but it is costly compared to the same specification with 4G. for example, the same configuration for 4G mobile is around 38990 rupees and it goes to 46990 with 5G. why are you paying the high costs for mobile devices in which technology is not at the working stage?
If you do not have multiple smart devices and your primary need to use mobile data then you go with the 4G. The main purpose of 5G is to communicate between smart devices of IoT and yes of -the course also using for internet but the spectrum of 5G is so costly the overall cost to provide services will be increased at the initial level.
Does 5G really benefit me?
5G required a lot of towers to provide services. But from a business point of view, it is highly costly to set infrastructure. A recent report says 5G will launch in a very limited area at initial years due to its shorter wavelength it means practically 5G technology is very limited for a normal user at initial years now for the next initial years does not make sense to to invest money in 5G smartphone technology. After 2 to 3 years prices of smartphones will going down and 5G infrastructure will also be developed. Then you can decide or think to buy a smartphone.
5G spectrum is not yet auctioned in India. It required a lot of time to build the infrastructure of the network and full setup. Hence 5G is not totally effective with the 4G in 2020-21. So it is wasting of money on 5G smartphone in 2020-21.

Buying a 5G smartphone is not a good choice in the initial years. It does not make any sense and is a waste of money. These are only a marketing strategy to attract people. So go smartly, and save your money.
