This time DC is making the team according to their home ground there is set back as no one knows how the Delhi pitch going play whole season as per last season DC lost more matches in Delhi. But that all is past this time they traded Ajinkya Rahane and Ravi Ashwin to provide the tough and strong support to their team player in middle. As per the squad of Delhi, it seems likely that they will buy Chris Moris back but at a lower price and they are lacking in the pace department this what they will look forward int auction.

In the last IPL team finished in 3rd place and under the guidance of the two most successful captains Sourab Ganguly and Ricky Pointing there is only going forward to this youth team.

DC has retained three overseas players which are south African Pacer Kagiso Rabada, West Indies allrounder Keemo Paul and Nepalese Leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane.

They released a total of nine-player which includes 6 Indian players and 3 overseas.

Most surprising was the release of allrounder Chris Moris and batsman Hanuma Vihari. I think they will buy them back at a low price.

During the trade season, Delhi Capital was the 2nd most active team as they released three players and bought Ravichandran Ashwin form KXIP and Ajinkya Rahane for RR.

Last season 2019 the Ravi Ashwin was the captain of KXIP but was unable to take their team to the playoff and over it was clear from the team they want a new captain for their team.

Now Ajinkya Rahane was bought from RR which is little surprising but deep down all knew this was going to happen as there was switch of captain between Ajinkya Rahane and Steve Smith in the middle of the season and frankly the role which Rahane was player of guiding the inning this can be played by Steve Smith too so there was no sense of RR to keep the two players for the same role.

Total Player in the squad: 14
