The West Indies have announced their ODI and T20 teams for the India tour starting next month. Kieron Pollard will captain both ODIs and T20s against India. At the same time, Nicholas Pooran vice-captain in T20 series and Shai Hope in ODIs will have the responsibility of vice-captain. West Indies team will play 3 match ODI and 3 match T20 series against India in December.

The selectors decided to maintain confidence in the players who had recently played against Afghanistan in Lucknow. ICC World T20 champions West Indies will begin their tour with a three-match T20 series, which will begin on 6 December in Hyderabad. After this, there will be the second T20 in Thiruvananthapuram on 8 December and the third match is to be held in Mumbai on 11 December.

After this, both the teams will clash in three ODIs in Chennai (15 December), Vizag (18 December) and Cuttack (22 December). Coach Phil Simmons said that we have three matches in every format, so we wanted to give each squad a chance to compete against India.
