How to Write Articles Fast: 10 Pro Tips

It's an art form to know how to write papers quickly. I've spent some time honing my skills. See, I don't want to write an essay for more than 20 minutes a day. And this article took me no more than 20 minutes to write.

I'm well aware that what I'm saying is blasphemy. But I can't find more time to write when I have a regular schedule to post on and a company to run. There simply isn't enough time to spend hours polishing every blog post or 2,000-word posts.

Writing quickly, however, does not imply sacrificing quality. I've compiled a list of ten tips to help you get in and out of the composition box quickly without sacrificing efficiency.

1. Make a list of suggestions.

If you get an idea for an article, scribble it down in a notebook or a word document. Finding a subject to write about takes up half of the time for many writers and content creators. When you're ready to blog, holding an idealist to collect more innovative content ideas helps you to move straight into a new post.

2. Give time for your ideas to grow.

It will take a long time if you try to come up with supporting evidence for your brilliant idea right away.

However, if you leave the subject alone for a few days, you'll be able to introduce new ideas when they come to mind. You'll have all the supporting details you need when you're ready to write.

3. Proofread before you start.

At this point, you probably have twice as many ideas as you need, so it's time to be ruthless with your content editing.

Remove any supporting ideas that don't relate to the article's main point. Note, we're about how to write papers quickly, not a book. You can still save the suggestions you don't need for future posts.

4. Make use of bullet points.

In terms of organization, learning how to write bullet points will make writing an article easily a lot easier. You won't have to waste time figuring out how to move from one concept to the next. The fact that readers like lists are a bonus. They're easier to watch with the eye.

5. Keep it brief.

Try to keep your article under 1,000 words if you want to finish it quickly. Also, don't think you're scrimping on quality material. This article is only 1,000 words long, but it is jam-packed with detail. Make every word count to save time without sacrificing efficiency.

6. Maintain a distraction-free environment

When you have time to devote to learning how to compose a short article, it is much easier. You'll be shocked by how much you can accomplish if you can avoid distractions and commit to 45 minutes of uninterrupted writing time.

Turn off your phone's alerts or leave it in another location. Use your web browser only to perform research for your post.

7. Write in pre-determined intervals.

In the previous tip, I listed committing to 45 minutes. It could be as little as 30 minutes or as long as 90 minutes.

The aim is to dedicate a certain amount of time to writing. You can also use a timer to help you stay on schedule. When the timer goes off, you should move on to something else.

8. Don't second-guess yourself.

You'll want to get started writing as soon as you've carved out your distraction-free room.

Doubting your idea will eat into the time you set aside to publish. Later on, you can look at other content ideas. Use this time to finish your homework.

9. Return at a later time

Save the article and move on to another project until you're no longer stuck. Open the document again if inspiration hits.

You can also skip around from one blog post to the next, spending a few minutes on each as inspiration strikes. It saves a lot of time.

10. A good idea should never be saved.

When you're looking over your list of content ideas, it's tempting to save the best ones for later because you think they'll be easier to publish.

You don't want to put off saving time for later; you want to save time right now. Make the most of your time by writing the articles you know would come easily.

You'll be on your way to writing articles easily if you follow these basic steps.
