How To Stand Among Thousands

It's pretty hard no? Your standing in front of thousand people and you know only five of then! Your gonna burst out in a sweat. Some common things; the crowd, the mic, in front of you, the stage, all will be toxic but in the other way. This time you're not the audience who'll clap and go back home. You'll have to make then clap before they serve you with a slap. When you go up at someplace like that, you're concerned about alot lot things including, "am I wearing the right color?", "will I be able to remember everything?", "will they throw the eggs they're carrying?", "am I even making sense to them?", and alot more.

People, It's just a matter of fear. The fear which doesn't allow the real YOU show up. The fear which kills the confidence in you just like a noob killing a bot. God made you with alot of effort and put in you not only sugar, spice, and everything nice but gave a unique talent and individual brain. We don't have to be an employer, instead, we got to be the one employing others. But if no confidence is used you'll lose not only investment but also your self-esteem.

Some common practices that'll help to stand among a crowd or a rabble:

1. EXPECT TO BE NERVOUS:

Even experienced speakers get nervous. Don't try to eliminate your jitters. Turn them into energy you can use to boost your delivery.

2. PREPARE:

You shall know what are you going to say and why you want to say so. (bonus tip: use medium English so more could understand your thought or your speech)

3. PRACTICE:

Speak to supportive audiences in small forums where less is at stake. Speak into the mirror, watch yourself speak, and express. Do hand movements properly.

4. BREATHE:

Thirty seconds before you go up on a stage, take three slow, deep breaths through your nose, filling your belly. As you breathe out, say silently to yourself, "Relax".

5. REHEARSE:

Don't be lazy, rehearse it thoroughly, practice out loud. You shall not memorize your speech word to word instead memorize it point by point. Be fluent with whatever your speaking. Imagine you're explaining your trip to your friend, be that much easy.

6. FOCUS ON YOUR AUDIENCE:

As you go up, you're concerned about yourself, as I mentioned above. With yourself, you shall be more concerned about audience relaxation. Ask them, "How are you?", "Are you getting the point?", "Can you hear me?". You may change the language to simply any vocabulary that you think the may not be able to understand.

7. SIMPLIFY:

Alot of speakers collect alot of ideas and thoughts and then they're worried about leaving something ot losing the track. Instead, communicate fewer ideas, keep it short and simple.

8. VISUALIZE SUCCESS:

Before the day, imagine yourself with your eyes closed; You're going up on stage with confidence popping out and speaking as if you're the man.

9. CONNECT WITH YOUR AUDIENCE:

Make the audience your allies. Talk to individuals, ask them about themselves. Don't go personal but do eye to eye contact with them and so they'll actually listen to you rather than putting their pictures on Insta.

10. ACT CONFIDENCE:

People won't see much that you're nervous. They can't tell if your palms are sweating or your knees are knocking or your heart is pounding. And you don't even have to tell them. Just stick out your chest and smile. Look confident to boost up your content.
