How to prevent depression?

What is depression?

Depression is basically the feeling of sadness and lack of interest in activities once most important. A depressed person uses to stay alone and try to be happy in front of others but he's broken from inside.

Causes of depression

There are many causes of depression. Some are listed below,

1. Lack of money

2. Lack of job

2. The negative attitude of other people

3. Major depressive events

4. Serious illness

5. Death or loss of loved ones

6. Major conflicts

7. Homeless

And many more

How to prevent depression?

First of all the depressed person feels useless. To prevent this problem you just have to see people around you. How much they are suffering. You should see the trees around you, how they are being cut to make household furniture. Always remember nothing is created useless in this universe. Everything has a purpose. You just have to find that purpose inside you. Maybe you are created to help others. Maybe you are created to do a major task for nature.

Secondly, a person is depressed due to the lack of a job. Just remember there are so many people around you who struggle every day to earn their livings but they don't lose hope and keep on trying. You have to keep trying and a day will come when you would find the best job for you. Don't be hopeless and believe that this ain't a suitable time for your job or maybe there's a better plan for you.

The third thing most from which people become depressed is the lack of attention from other people. Just think there might be some fault in you keeping relations. Maybe you don't give enough time to your relations and your friends or maybe your behavior towards others is somehow faulty. Just try to be calm and give time to your relations, go outside, find new people, and try to find happiness in every little thing you come across. Don't sit idle and find a suitable person for you to spend time with and share your feelings with.

The fourth thing to cause depression is lack of contentment. Like if a person wants to get a car, he should think of people who walk by their feet to reach their destination. If he thinks he has low-quality shoes, just think there are many people who don't have feet to wear shoes. If you think you don't have good food to eat then just think there are many people who don't even have clean water to drink and dying due to hunger. If a person thinks he has no good clothes, he should keep in mind those people who use leaves to cover their bodies. Try to be contented with what you have because millions of people don't have the facilities that you are enjoying.

The fifth cause of depression is major illness. If a person is suffering from a major illness, he should think of a comatose person who can't move his body but still has the hope to become normal one day. He should think of people who don't have money to cure their illness. Dont feel devastated. Just have hope and try to find positivity in everything. Maybe the disease you are suffering from is giving you time to think about the purpose of your creation and time to think about productive things you can do in your life. 

The sixth depressive thing is death or loss of loved ones. The person suffering from depression due to this reason should think of people around him who dont have their families to get care from. There are other people in your friend's circle and in your family who care for you. Try to spend time with them. If a person leaves your life that doesn't mean your life is stopped. You need to move on to find new people, to find happiness around you, and to meet new faces. 

The conclusion of all this is a person should never lose hope. He should move on because there is a replacement of everything and there is the purpose of everything that happens to you. Maybe the thing happening to you ain't that worse as they are with other people. Just go outside, breathe some fresh air, hear the birds chirping, see the beauty of nature, travel the world, see the new people, try to find positivity and happiness in everything, spend your time with your closed ones, and try to relieve the pain of others. If you try to make others happy then you would be happy automatically. If you listen to the problems of others and try to solve them, you will forget yours. Share your feelings with someone who really cares for you because sharing is caring. I hope one day you would be most contented with your life. Don't sit idle and keep on trying as you know trying, again and again, will definitely make you achieve your goals. There is a beautiful life waiting for you.
