HOW TO MAINTAIN YOUR BIKE IN LOCKDOWN

In these covid-19 lockdowns, your motorbikes also need to be careful as you are caring for your health. Here are some simple tips on how to maintain your motorbikes during the lockdown

1. CLEANING YOUR MOTORBIKES

During the lockdown, your motorbikes are not properly using daily, So your bikes are just standing and covering with dust particles. It should be clean for better performance. First, splash some water on your Bike. Then Take some water and shampoo (if you don't have any washing bike liquids) and mix with the water untill it makes bubbles on it. Then Take a piece of cloth and wipe the shampoo water mix on the Bike. Remember to dry, especially on dirt and dust having side. After wiping the Bike, splash some water until the shampoo water mix is clean. Then take a fresh, clean, dry cloth and wipe the Bike until the Bike is clean, having no water. Then take polisher and sponge and rub the polish on your Bike, it takes only $2. And wallah your Bike is neat & clean and fresh and fact after cleaning your Bike you will love to ride your bike again, and it will run smoothly. Then cover the Bike with a cloth or with your bike cover, Make sure the cover is covering the Bike fully to the bottom. And make sure you parked your Bike in the shade not in sunlight Reaching areas

2. BATTERY PROBLEMS

Battery problems are common in many bikes. It mainly happens because it is old or not running a bike constanteneously. For preventing it from unplugging your battery from your bike connection by just removing +positive wire and -Negative wire of your Bike, you can also watch youtube how to disconnect your battery connections. And another one is you can heat up your Bike just starting your Bike. You need to put your bike gear in (N) Neutral; you can also check whether your Bike is in (N) Neutral or not on your odometer. And start your Bike and keep the Bike on Running mode at least 4-5 minutes. Remember, in mind, don't accelerate or don't give throttle to your Bike. The main reason to don't do this because it will harm your Bike and your bike engine, as many of us do that, That's not the correct way. Just keep on start mode generally as it's not running. It will run your engine only and heat up a little bit, and your battery will charge up.

3. LUBE AND CLEAN CHAIN

As many motorbikes Run miles, it also needs to be lube and clean the chains because the chains are made up of iron, and iron gets rust quickly as a result which your bike chain also can break. You need to lube and clean your chain after 500km runs. For lubing and Cleaning first, you need to put your Bike in the double stand; if your bike doesn't have a double stand, you need to buy paddock stand. After putting your Bike in the double stand, you need to clean the chain first with the brush, which is available in the market, and put your bike in 1st gear as it will rotate your wheel chain. And then spray the liquid for best result spray the engine oil as it will give your chain a good clean and friction between the sprocket's teeth and the chain will be less and the teeth will not break easily. Then after cleaning the chain, apply the lubricant spray and leave it for atleast One day as it will give the best results.
