How to get more Views and Likes on Instagram Reels?

This is quite visible given the fact that now, Instagram has offered a dedicated REELS tab where you can endlessly consume the new member’s content:) That brings us to a question as to how to dominate reels so as to get a good number of views and engagement, of course… If you have ever dived into social media marketing, you would already know that Instagram comes with a bunch of tactics and strategies that help you push your content to your target audience.

Here are 6 TIPS to help you get more views on REELS:

 

1. Public Account:

If you are an individual or someone who just wants to increase his/her follower base and reach more people through your reels, the first step you need to take is to convert your Private A/c into a Public A/c/. The option to switch accounts is available in the Settings Menu!

 

2. Location Tags:

You must include location tags while posting your reels. The location tag holds immense importance as it helps you target your local audience. For identifying that from which location your short videos are viewed the most, you can check out your city/country wise data from the Insights Tab given on your profile.

 

3. Posting Time:

A simple rule: If you post at the right time when your audience is most active, you are likely to get more views and engagement on your short videos. For this, head back to the Insights Tab and evaluate your audience timings. Check the most active hours when your audience is live on Instagram. Target those slots and upload your reels. Do not forget to share in your stories as well.

 

4. Attractive & Entertaining Content:

You have the access and freedom to be creative, showing your face and ability to the world. There’s no need to come up with super funny and cracking content. Just showing up every day with minimal to zero editings is enough! 5. Collaboration:

With collaboration, you are likely doubling your reach, thus leading to an increase in your videos. Look out for someone who has similar tastes like you, reach out to them with a collaboration request, and create videos that hook your audiences. Basically, there’s a dual advantage:)

 

6. Hashtags:

Twitter set the benchmark and established the fun behind using hashtags to promote your content organically. I would recommend using a maximum of 6-9 hashtags that are relevant to your content. If you are in a dilemma as to which hashtags to use, here’s a quick guide: Click on the search bar on the top right corner and select the tags option. Enter your content’s topic, for example, outfit, yoga, dance, etc.. and select hashtags that active relevant, and active posts. Create a list of approximately 50 hashtags and use them interchangeably.
