How to Conquer your fear to success in life?

You sing very well, but when you go to sing in front of people, why doesn't the melody come out?  It's scary!  He prepared very well for the presentation in the morning, but he was shaking his hands and feet in front of everyone, forgetting everything.  You try, you have talent, your preparation is always good.

So, where is the problem?  The problem lies inside you. We call this 'fear.' Starting from small things, many times big interviews can be ruined just for fear.

Today I will learn how to overcome this fear that is the root of all evil.

1. Notice when the fear is greatest

It's normal to be scared when you give a presentation for the first time or when you go into the water for the first time.  Everyone is afraid.  But we have to notice when the fear is no longer normal.  Does being scared start your panic attack?  Are you afraid to go somewhere or do something?  When you are scared, you can't usually think anymore?

If the answer is yes, then you need to understand that your fears are no longer usual.  As I said at first, there is a little bit of fear in everything at first.  But if this fear lasts for more than six months, then it is no longer normal.

2. Know the signs of fear

Fear varies from person to person. For example, some people are afraid of public speaking or raising their hands to ask/answer questions, while others are afraid of injections.  Just as the fear of one person is the same, the symptoms of fear of another person are also different.  If you are afraid, find out what is changing in you.

The changes that usually occur when someone is scared are: rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, sweating, dizziness, anxiety, feeling overwhelmed by what they are afraid to do, wanting to run away, Feeling helpless, etc.

3. Find out if there is a reason behind the fear

Many times fear starts from a bad incident.  In that case, the way to overcome fear in the general situation is to take a different approach.

4. Also find out if the fear is due to genetics

Fear is a purely psychological issue, and many times, mental problems are caused by genetics. Maybe someone in your family is afraid to accept something new, and that's what happened to you. So if you are afraid of something, check beforehand if anyone else in the family is afraid of the same thing.

5. It is normal to be afraid

You're going to say something on stage.  That's when the fear took over, and you realized that you were scared. You also understand that It is not right to be afraid of time. So you got more nervous. It is more natural to be afraid than to think about it.

6. Determine what you are afraid of

With the example of a presentation, you can be afraid of different things during the presentation.  For example, the audience sitting in front, the familiar faces, those who have a lot of confidence in you, the judge, the microphone, the slide in the back, speaking in English, or the whole situation.

Now you need to find out what you are really afraid of.  The more you understand what your fear is, the easier it will be to overcome it.

7. Acknowledge the fear

Please don't run away from fear because I'm not scared, but admit that you are scared like ten other normal people, and it is very normal to be scared.

8. Think about what you are losing for fear

You are too scared to give viva at the end of the semester. For this, you have given up giving viva. By doing this, your marks are going down a lot every semester. Think about what you are losing because of your fears. Think about how much your grade would have been if you had gotten this number. Don’t go on a trip with friends seeing you are afraid to get on the train.  Think about how much fun it would be to go on a trip.  You will see that he is also afraid.

9. Get out of wrong beliefs

You are afraid to say anything in class because you believe that everyone will laugh when you say something.  Get out of these beliefs because these beliefs are the main source of your fear.

10. Face fear again and again

Do the same thing over and over again.  Repeat and see, why are you afraid, is there anything to be scared of?  If so, can't he be conquered?

11. Take fear as a challenge

Fear also has a different beauty.  Fear can motivate you to act.  Do the thing you fear, challenge yourself.  Since you are scared, the matter is challenging.  Let's overcome this challenge.

12. Use the relaxation method

Close your eyes and think of something good, take a deep breath, listen to music, do things that calm you down, so do away with fear.
