How tech war started?

There is an ancient phrase that if a person gets success without struggle, then that success does not give pleasure. The greater the battle, the greater the enjoyment of success, and the struggle increases when success is for one person only, and the contenders are two. Some such interesting competition took place between two youngsters, then they were probably not so incredible, but where did they even know that their time was going to change. So let's go to the first stop of the story.

Beginning of Great Journey:-

Mainframe Computers

1974

Harvard University, Cambridge, USA

Here we will meet the first character of our story named Bill Gates, who was a very great student. In that period, computers were not an easy mechanical machine. Only big computer engineers operated them. Mainframe computers were used at the time, and our Bill Gates had expertise in operating mainframe computers. He often spent hours in a computer lab with his friend Paul Allen if I say that by hearing so much about them, we can easily understand that Bill Gates' future was connected with computers.

Now I am going to tell you about the second character of the story, which most people like, I also know that you guys must have guessed who they are? That person is Steve Jobs. Now whatever I am going to tell you about Steve Jobs, maybe you people might be surprised to hear those things. Steve Jobs had left his college studies in the middle, he was in many dangerous groups, and he used to take drugs also. They did not know what they wanted to do in life. There was no goal in life. Suddenly, Steve Jobs thinks of visiting India with his friends during the summer holidays. Suddenly his interest in spirituality deepens after coming to India. Steve Jobs himself believed that by coming to India, he learned a big thing which was Karma. He had realized now that the work done by people like Thomas Edison for this world is truly remarkable. Stressing this essential lesson in his heart, Steve returns to America.

Rise of Microsoft:-

It was 1975 that Bill Gates was sitting at his desk doing some critical work, then suddenly his friend Paul Allen delivered the news that the MITS company launched Altair-8800, which was a minicomputer. Bill Gates has an idea in mind after hearing this news. He sees this incident as an opportunity; according to him, this new thinking can change the public's understanding of computers. So without wasting any time, they ordered Altair-8800. Here I want to make you completely clear that even though Altair 8800 is given the status of the first personal computer, if you compare it with the image of today's computer, then you can easily identify the difference. The Altier 8800 looked like a radio. It had no monitor, keyboard, nor terminal, and was quite slow. So Bill thought, why not write a language for this Altair 8800 that Altair 8800 can easily understand.

Anyone interested in computers will know that computer commands are typed on a keyboard in a particular language and sent to the computer. But as you read that there were no monitors and keyboards at that time, then by punching on paper rolls, a unique pattern was made on it to create computer languages, due to which the computers of that era could understand the command. Then Bill and Paul sent these new languages to the MITS company. The company liked this change in its device, and thus, Microsoft emerged.

Rise Of Apple:-

I think you will be curious now to know what has happened in Steve's life that a person who has no idea about computers, how computers become his best friends in his life. After returning from India, Steve Jobs went to meet his friend Steve Wozniak. Steve Wozniak was also a computer hobbyist. What Steve Jobs sees when he visits his friend in the garage is a microprocessor similar to an Altar 8800 lying on a table, which is connected to a keyboard and monitor. This new computer did not require paper rolls to write commands. You could also type commands on the keyboard and look at the monitor. Steve Jobs was excited to see this new device. His curiosity was not about how this machine works, but in knowing how to sell this machine in the market.

Then Steve thought why not to launch this device in the market. So Steve Jobs started making efforts to make this device more beautiful and marketable. Finally, the device was ready. By the way, this device was enough to attract more people. It had 6 percent more memory than the Altair 8800. Now the most considerable thought was to name the device? Everyone was suggesting mechanical names, but Steve Jobs called Apple! Yes, Apple, which is a cute and easy name that makes a place in everyone's heart. This is where you are forced to praise Steve's marketing skills. Along with this, the device was also named Apple I. Due to its many benefits, Apple I could still not be very successful in the market, and it sold only 200 pieces and proved to be a big loss deal.

If there was someone else in place of Steve Jobs, he might have given up. But if we think that the difference between successful people and us is only this and that is the spirit of not giving up. And the same spirit was also in Steve. He did not get frustrated, but took lessons from the failure of Apple I and moved towards success. Steve continued to accelerate Apple I's processors and simplify the design. Eventually, his hard work paid off, and he launched the Apple II, which proved to be a huge success and sold 8 million units of the Apple II.

The story is not over yet. The information will be brought to you soon in the following article. But till then, remember a lesson, never be afraid to do anything new in society. Familiarity is something that is done by something new. Never be scared of failures, learn from them, and move on.
