How different is the Indian variant of Hyundai venue compared to the american variant

Hyundai debuted the venue first in 2019 in Newyork International Autoshow. It was launched in India on 21 May 2019. Later on, it was launched in the US market in the 5 door subcompact crossover SUV category.

the Indian version of Hyundai venue is available in 5 trim levels which are:-

E, S, SX, SX+ AND SX(O)

Whereas the American version of Hyundai venue is available in 3 trim levels which are:-

SE, SEL and DENIM 

the Indian Hyundai venue sits below Creta which is also a very highly popular SUV whereas in the US market it sits under Hyundai Kona. the car is highly popular all over the world and Hyundai motors sell thousands of units every month globally.

so here the details on how the US specification is different from the Indian specification in the base variant of both the markets. the base variant of the Hyundai venue in India is E trim whereas in America it is SE.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Indian variant: In India, the base variant of Hyundai venue receives a 1.2 litre or 1197cc 4 cylinders naturally aspirated petrol engine which churns out 82bhp at 6000 rpm and 114NM of torque at 4000 rpm mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. the car is front-wheel drive only and has the driving range of 788 km with the mileage figures of around 17kmpl.

the car meets the current emission standards and is BS6 complaint.

American variant: In the American variant venue comes with 1.6 litres smart stream 4                                             cylinder gasoline engine which produces 121bhp of power at 6300 rpm and 113NM of torque at 4500 rpm which comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or to an IVT(intelligent variable transmission) which drives the front wheels of the car.

Difference: The American variant has a more powerful engine and there is an option of automatic transmission too.

The base price of the car in the US market is $18750 for the SE variant whereas the Indian variant of the Hyundai venue is priced at 6.75 lakhs.
