Effect on environment

The world is passing through science and technology. Which has become an essential part of our life? With the help of science and technology, We are solving many problems related to our lives, which also has much success. Scientists have achieved fantastic success in fields like medicine, agriculture, cloning, missiles, etc.

Science and technology have a massive contribution to the field of medicine. Which has overcome a lot of diseases like Smallpox, Swine flu, Dengue, Chikungunya, Japanese encephalitis, Malaria, Tuberculosis, etc.? Due to which there has been a lot of improvement in the health of people. But there are many diseases that have not eradicated from the root, such as Sugar, ADS, Cancer, blood pressure.

The point to be considered is whether, in the future, we will be able to eliminate these diseases from the root. Where scientists are dedicating there life in research. Clinical waste arising from the medical field also impacts the environment, fauna, and human health.

If we talk about cloning, which means to make a clone of any animal that to create an organism similar to that, causing a clone from a cell of any organism that is physically and genetically identical to the parent, the process of cloning in the agriculture and horticulture sector has been going on since ancient times.

But cloning in the manufacture of animals has started in recent years. Many creatures have been cloned in the world, such as Sheep, Rat, Buffalo, Pig, Rabbit, Cat, etc. Endangered species can be saved by cloning. But are we not tampering with nature.

The point to be considered is, What will it affect the environment, biodiversity system, and human life in the times to come? What should we adopt for its environment imbalance situation arises? We need to consider the hazard and dismantling arising out of it in the future.

If we talk about the agricultural sector, then scientists have also achieved fantastic success in this, which is a lot of commendable. The Green revolution could ensure adequate food for the people. Due to which there is a lot of improvement in nutrition and starvation.

According to the global hunger index, the problem of starvation still remains. INDIA rank lowest among SOUTH ASIAN COUNTRIES. Whose rank is listed 102nd in 2019? The thing to think is INDIA is an agricultural dominate country. The global hunger index is a measure of starvation. That represents starvation at the global, national, and regional levels. Which is released every year by the INTERNATIONAL FOOD POLICY RESEARCH INSTITUTE?

There are still many genetically modified crops whose safety could not be ensured. The production of which crops around is also affected, and for many years no crop is produced in that area. Due to which the situation of environmental imbalance arises, and the lives of farmers can also be in danger.

For example, GOLDEN RICE, which is a genetically modified crop, which is designed to meet vitamin A deficiency. It can save us from diseases such as CANCER, BLINDNESS, etc. It is low fat and low sodium based food. Hence it limits the problem of high blood pressure and high cholesterol. But its security is not sure right now. Because there are many hazards to its production, it contaminates nearby crops and the environment.

Rationality today, people are spending a better life by producing adequate food, health facilities, and luxury items. But will we able to eliminate the problems arising out of scientism in the future. Talk about the Green revolution example, which revolutionized crop production in the world, which played an essential role in the supply of food grains.

The Green revolution resulted in the exploitation of excess water, and the over-use of chemical fertilizers is making soil of fields unproductive. Due to which the productivity of crops declining. The use of chemicals is also impacting human health and animals, birds. There is a need to promote organic manure in the world to solve this problem. Pet animals' dung, urine, and crop residues are required for preparing organic fertilizer. But the problem is that there is such a massive amount of organic manure to be produced.

The number of domesticated animals is decreasing, and in this period of technology, crop residues are destroyed or burnt during the harvesting of crops with big machines. Due to the problem of air pollution is also happening.

From the above statement, it is clear that the benefits of the application of any research and its impact on the environment and living organisms in the future should be assessed. There is a need to find the first solutions to the threats arising from it. So that problems arising from the future can be avoided.
