Google is an American company that is commonly known as a search engine. We can learn anything and everything just by searching it on Google.
No doubt, Google has made our lives easy but did you know that there are some things which we shouldn't Google?
1. Symptoms
This has become our habit to immediately Google about the minor symptoms that we find in our body and end up looking at the screen saying we have some severe problems which most of the time is not true. Hence we should consult a doctor instead of searching about it on Google.
2. Childbirth
Giving birth to a baby is the best gift God has given to us and there is no doubt about it. But, watching the women giving birth to a baby on the internet is quite distressing because the process is definitely not so easy and something we can enjoy watching. Pregnant ladies should definitely avoid watching such videos on the internet because it may terrify them and increase their anxiety which may cause birth problems when they're actually giving birth.
3. Your favorite food
Imagine Googling pictures of your favorite food then craving to have it the whole day will make you sad and ruin your day and you will eventually lose your appetite. So we must avoid this and if you're on diet, we suggest you to kindly avoid searching for this one.
4. Illegal things
There are some things which the Government prohibits the people to search it on Google or on any platform which makes them look suspicious. No cap, this is some serious issue. We should never Google about illegal things i,e. How to make bombs, Child pornography etc,. These things will get you arrested. Cyber security and Law enforcement officials keep a close eye on such internet searches and they log in the IP address that has searched for the terms that are mentioned above.
5. Pressure cooker bomb + Backpack
In 2003, a terrorist was found who was from Chechnya named Abdullah, he was carrying a pressure cooker bomb detonated explosive and he even killed six people before being arrested near Kabul International Airport in Afghanistan. So cyber police
In 2013, when they saw someone searched for the term "Pressure cooker bomb + Backpack" which led the police to their house. We should totally keep that in mind to never search such things on the internet.
6. Blue Waffle
No, it's not what you have thought it is. We know by reading this word "waffle" you must've thought it's a waffle of some blueberry flavour but sorry to burst your bubble but it's not a food item but a disease that is fictional sexually transmitted that only affects female private part. Waffle is a slang used to refer for a female genital "vagina" and blue refers to one of the imaginary symptoms of this condition which is fake. Although it's a hoax but do not search for it if you don't want to end up being disgusted.
7. Cancer
We all know cancer is a very dangerous disease. Cancer is a disease that is caused when cells develop abnormally anywhere in the body. There are over 200 types of cancer that have prevailed over the years. Cancers that have shown up frequently are Lung and prostate cancer, Endometrial Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, and many more.
Cancer symptoms and signs are not very specific as they depend on the specific grade and type of cancer, but the symptoms that are seen are fatigue, weight loss, pain, changes in the skin, unusual bleeding, persistent cough or voice change, fever, lumps or tissue masses. These symptoms are quite common and can be found in every human body. Whenever we search for the symptoms of cancer, we start thinking we might've diagnosed with Cancer. Hence we should always avoid searching about the symptoms on Google and visit a doctor instead.
8. Junko Furuta
We listen to the news every day about girls of all ages are raped everywhere. What is worse than rape? A gang rape. Junko Furuta, who was a student in a Japanese high school got abducted and brutally gang-raped by her classmates and died because of severe body injuries. A horrific story we'd never even want to imagine because it will make your heart melt and increase your anxiety issues. You would not be able to sleep after reading her story so we advise you to not Google this.
9. Botfly remover
Avoid searching this one if you don't want to end up watching a video of a man removing parasitic, flesh-eating botfly maggot from under his skin.
10. Insider trading in an International account
In July 2017, police arrested MIT researcher Fei Yan. According to reports, he Googled, "Insider trading in an International account" before allegedly purchasing large amounts of stock.
Yan was charged with 3 fraud counts. Federal prosecutors allege the stock made Yan $120,000 in illicit profits.
