I love animals. They are so innocent and feeble. Never it happens, that when a man shows them love, they do not respond back with all their love and affection. In fact, it’s beautiful to see that when needed, they would give up their own, to save our lives. Yet, we humans, continue to behave as beasts to towards them.
I have always been in love with movies, featuring animals. For instance, Bambi where Bambi is a young deer who learns that there is tragedy as well as beauty and joy in his forest world. It’s a great movie which beautifully depicts relationship between friends, family and their people(animals). Seeing such movies have always got me to wonder, what if animals actually had voice and strength like us. They would never choose to be treated the way they are now. These poor creatures cannot even express their hurting, when separated from their mothers, families, home... or when killed for mere entertainment. It’s difficult to imagine their pain, especially of young animals who are put away from their families in a strange distant zoo just to be a part of the business.
I am sure none of us would ever want to switch places with them. In fact, many of us never even bring this thought on our mind. We only strive in life to take care our families, but ironically do not spare a care in destroying thousand other families in the animal word.
It’s very common to see animal abuse on streets. They are being whipped for not moving the carriage faster which would be loaded with tons of weight, they could ever bear on their body. Honestly, I cannot see such a dreadful, living-in-hell scene. I close my eyes and pray silently to god to relieve its pain and all other animals suffering the same pain. I wish I could do more than just praying (but this is all I could do). I wish I was in power or there were people so, who could completely ban animal abuse or harming of animals.
Some people, some horrible humans, get creative with torturing animals, you know. For instance, one of those news that I saw where a man puts tail of a rat on fire (horrible!), just to have a laugh on its pathetic, thrashing about movement. Eventually it burned his own house.
It’s surprising to see how low humans can get, right. These people have no pity for animals.
I have also seen during Diwali (one of the big festivals celebrated in India) that people do the same thing, or burn crackers near animals just to have a laugh about on their shocking to death reaction. What a disgusting behaviour.
Seriously, sometimes we become animals, and animals show better intelligence than us. They are always kind and mean no harm unless they prey on us ( not to worry because they live far in their forest home unless we also seize that from them ) or we harm them first. A relationship with animal is not like one that we develop with other human. It is more beautiful and pure. If it’s not true and loyal from our side, it is.., from their side.
So, it’s my humble request to all my readers, always show them love. Provide them with food whenever you can, when they come to you. Give them home and hope. Do not cut trees, because it is home to animals and birds. Do not throw plastics around so then cows wouldn’t ingest it.
And again always be kind to them.
