Dhoni & Team will play the third match of the season.

1. The 7th match of the 13th season of IPL will be played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC) in Dubai today.  This is Chennai's third match of the season, while it will be Delhi's second.  Chennai's pallu is already heavy against Delhi.  Chennai has won 4 of the previous 5 matches.  Chennai beat Delhi in 3 matches played between the two teams last season.  This will be the first match between the two teams in Dubai.

2.Dhoni's batting order was questioned

In the match against Rajasthan, Dhoni came to bat at No. 7.  Before Dhoni, Sam Karan, Ravindra Jadeja and Kedar Jadhav were sent to bat.  Chennai lost the match by 16 runs.  Dhoni then faced criticism over the batting order.

3.Doubts over Rayudu and Bravo's play

For Chennai, Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo are in doubt.  Rayudu could not play the match against Rajasthan due to hamstring trouble.  While Bravo was out of both matches at the start of the season.

4.Keep an eye on this record

● Shikhar Dhawan needs 4, while Rishabh Pant needs 6 sixes to reach 100 sixes.

● MS Dhoni needs 2 sixes to become the second-highest hitter.

5.If they win today, CSK will be the second team to win more than 15 matches against 3 teams.

Three-time champions (2018,2011,2010) CSK will become the second team to win more than 15 matches against 3 teams if they win the match today.  Before this only Mumbai Indians could do that.

6.Expensive players of both teams.

Captain Dhoni is the most expensive player in CSK.  The team will give him Rs 15 crore for one season.  Then there is Kedar Jadhav in the team.  He will get Rs 7.80 crore this season, while Rishabh Pant is the most expensive player in Delhi at Rs 15 crore and Shimron Hatmeyer at Rs 7.75 crore.

6.Head-to-head.

In the IPL, Dhoni's team has a huge impact in Chennai and Delhi.  The two have played 21 matches so far.  Chennai has won 15 and Delhi 6 matches.  Last season, Delhi could not beat Chennai even once.

7.Delhi's poor record in UAE, Chennai won  4 out of 5 matches.

Due to the Lok Sabha elections, IPL 2009 saw South Africa and the first 20 matches of the 2014 season played in the UAE.  At that time, Delhi's record in the UAE was very bad.  The team then won 2 out of 5 matches here and lost 3, while Chennai won 4 out of 5 matches in the UAE.

8. Delhi beat Punjab in the super over.

This season, Delhi had played its previous match against Punjab in Dubai, which was decided in a super over.  In the super over, Delhi beat Punjab by only 3 runs.

9.Pitch and Season Report Pitch and Season Report.

The sky will be clear during the match in Dubai.  Temperatures are expected to hover between 27 and 39 degrees Celsius.  The pitch can help the batsman.  Having a slow wicket here will help the spinners a lot.  The team that wins the toss will choose to bat first.  The team that batted first in the 61 T-20s played here before this IPL has a success rate of 55.75 percent.

11.CSK's success rate in IPL is higher than Rajasthan's.

Rajasthan Royals, who won the IPL in 2008, have played 148 matches in the league so far, winning 76 and losing 70.  2 matches were without result.  CSK have won 101 of 167 matches so far and lost 65.  The success rate of the Royals was 51.35 percent and the highest of CSK was
